Hi,
Ich hab ma wieder ne frage.
ist es möglich mit dem bot dia-leech runs zu machen? Würde gern mit meinem pala diaruns machen und meine sorc soll leechen..geht das? wenn ja wie?

Aber der Aufwand der Adaptierung wäre eben auch enorm, ich würde mit 20h aufwärts rechnen, wenn man es halbwegs ordentlich macht. Auch wenn das in 3 Monaten Semesterferien durchaus machbar wäre, ausserdem reizt es mich irgendwie, weil es mal wieder was neues ist.

however the similar trick wouldnt work here. after inputing:
bot just stood in place where last script ended (for example shenk) with pindleskin script stopped. 1st i used other Pindleskin.ntj script file fount on the internet but to no avail. just got a bot comment that it needs waypoint which i dont have (to keep red tp open). next i used my Pindleskin.ntj from d2nt 3.0 but got the same result like in the first place: bot just stood still.
Big question: how to force pindle run without nihla using the red tp?

2nd issue - No Colors

it seems that Muddy's version have some problems with printing some of the colors. instead of pretty colorful text i get diablo color codes output and it doesn't matter what language I use. Here are some pics which show that color usage in different places is not working:
after adding 'nip check addon':
so nearly in any place that colors are requied they are displayed as (i think) they appear in syntax. the strange thing is that only some colors like c0 or c5 are affected. this also happens in xml log:

as you suggested, i tried to disable desktop composition and visual styles also with compatibility with xp and with 'run as admin' but it didn't help.
Big question: ofc how do i fix this?
small matter: how hard would it be for me to change display color in manager -> item log of words 'Sold' and 'kept to red and green just like in xml?
3rd issue - Logs

My logs seem to lack Nip Debug info even thogh it is set:
is annoying because i would like to know why bot picked something, and a line from pickit say it all. if a bot picks something up only to sell it and make money, should it also be be in nip debug info?
Big question: again, what is wrong?
after fixing those issues it will be milk & honey!
should i paste any content of my config files? which ones?
 I kindly ask for some support because i couldnt find answers to my problems and i simply adore Muddy's D2nt 3.1 everything but those issues :P
i hope everything is clear and there will be someone to help me with all this

Wow, I must say I'm really not that used to first posts that are as comprehensible as yours.
Since the first issue has already been resolved, let's get straight to the second issue:
And to be quite frank, I don't really have a clue of how to fix this one. Though I don't assume this to be an issue that is related to my version exclusively, as the problem also persists when viewing an xml itemlog using Firefox. Are you using a Polish Version of Windows as well?
This is just a wild guess, but I could imagine this to be related to your windows character set - but again, this is merely a hunch, after all I'm not a professional. 
However, the color of the terms in itemlog can be changed relatively easily as I merged all manager itemlog outputs into one single function, called MWI_WriteManagerLog(). As the prefix already indicates, this function is defined in the MWItemlogger library.
To alter the colors, just add the appropriate color codes at the very front of the strings that are being assigned in the first switch statement in the function mentioned above.
Regarding your third issue:
Activating the nip debug mode will extend the item tooltips for items in the manager's itemlog and applies only for those items that are being kept.
You cannot show nip lines for items that are not being kept, because the absence of such a line is the very reason the item is not kept in the first place.

Wenn du kein Anncouncement willst, initialisiere die entrsprechende Variable doch einfach mit einer leeren Zeichenkette.

Also das problem mit dem bot ist gegangen wie es gekommen ist: ohne das ich was gemacht hab :P
Aber ich hab noch n viel akuteres problem mit meinem PC, aber das gehört hier nicht her^^

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit beim Keychange die Zeit zwischen Schließen des Fensters und Neustart zu verkürzen?
Wie (Wo im Starterscript) kann man die Zeit beim Login verkürzen, ohne globale click delays zu verändern? Die Zeit im Login Screen ist mir doch ein bisschen zu lang.

Ich habe mich damit zwar noch nicht genauer beschäftigt, würde aber stark vermuten, dass der Restart intern ausgelöst wird, insofern kann man am Restart selber wohl wenig drehen.
Was genau meinst du mit Login Screen? Das wo die Eingabe der Accountdaten erfolgt? In dem Fall kann du dort aus meiner Sicht tatsächlich nur mit den Click und Text Delays etwas drehen, auch wenn ich die nicht unbedingt erhöhen würde.

No, i am using using original english language windows 7 x86 sp1 ult. Yes indeed, using firefox colors are also affected just the same as in opera.

Here is what i did and got *some* effect. I copied folder <mycharname> with all the files in it to some other location. Edited *.xml and *.xsl files:

This has resolved the color issue! however, i am afraid i will have to jugle this non-unicode setting while installing some software. is there no way i can get colors output right with my native language as one for non-unicode programs?
maybe it is a suggestions for future release, to make this ingenious invention of yours more compatibile with system language settings?

Since i didnt understang much of that last sentence i used logic and some basic html/css/programming knowledge i have. i edited this spot:

So it seems to be working, and from now on 'kept' are 'set green' "ÿc2Kept " for example and 'sold' are red "ÿc1Sold ". I changed all the cases 0 -> 3 to my liking. Thank you very much for this tip!
In general I would like to have what we have acomplished here used. Maybe a partioal sticky? i would like to share our/my solution regarding d2nt color issues. Posting all this while fixing alone, took me many hours so lets help out some other 'evil botters' :P

of course... my bad, now i'm ashamed a little for my foolishness. in that case i will ask a little different matter.
how to print out to *.xml file this nip debug? so that i could review more detailed causes of my items kept in the past.
*NEW 4th issue - Restarts*

after a night of bot runs i managed to gather such a statistics:
Runs: ~70 ; Restarts: ~7
this gives about 10% fail ratio which compared to my previous, d2nt 3.0 bot's <1%, is a bit high.
Big question: are there any common resasons? what may be the reason?
Finishing question: do you plan on expanding xml log options? for example mentioned nip debug info? or advanced filter/sorting options: time, found at, item class/type (big classes: aromor, weapon, charm, to-socket etc. ; detailed class: helm, armor, gloves, boots, small charm, runes etc ; type: unique, set, runeword, rare, magic, normal, sockets, ethereal ; rarity: normal, exceptinal, elite)? or outputting to *.xml gamble and game statistics?
Imho it would be a very nice perk and a useful tool.

If there is a way to achieve that, I definitely don't know it, sorry. 
And I also don't see a way to fix this for future releases, since I don't have source access.

Actually that would require a bit of effort, but I currently lack time to give you detailed instructions on how that is accomplished, sorry.
You could of course give it a show without further instructions: check the MWI_WriteManagerLog() to get an idea of how the nip debug string is generated. All you need to do is add that to the function that writes the xml log. However, this won't work flawlessly, because the xml stylesheet is only able to display one color code per line, meaning additional color codes that are not located of the very beginning of a line will be ignored and omitted.

Now that's a tough one... 
The increased restart rate is a known issue, though cause of that issue is not. Here are some things that could possibly affect the restart rate: - large run schedules (10 bot scripts++)
- xml log
- overhead status messages
- short delays

Probably not. I wrote  that allows searching logfiles and such which made xml logs way less attractive to me.
Also, I'm really not that much into that html/xml stuff, the mere editing of the xml style sheet to have it support D2 color codes was a pain in the ass, that's why I try to stick with C related programming languages whenever I can.

Actually, I highly recommend using an English version of D2. After all, changing the language via -direct -txt is not a big issue at all. Plus this issue is API related, so there is really nothing I can do about it.

i have always sucked in programming skills, i only managed to learn some middle level html/css so i will not even try as it beyond my current skills. pity though...

In my case it could be 2nd or 3rd case cos i run 1 bot at a time and have all the default delays but lobby time [15 000 --> 10 000].
Interesting thing is that after fixing the no color issue, 4 out of 68 runs were failed and 2 were failed because of my experiment with polish version. so all in all its ~3% fail for now. once i managed to see the line of error: #2601 or #2501, not sure as it only showed for a fraction of a second and closed. we'll see how it will look overnight, ill post it.
so now there is another known crash couse - color issue, as colors output seems to affect stability somehow.
is there a way to pause on this error? i tried to find it in system event log and d2 install folder but didnt manage to do so.

Oh, good to know that you dont plan on developing xml log, but you have perfectly valid reasons. at some point i guess ill check out this app of yours, for time being i dont need it. thank you nonetheless

sure am using enlish one, for botting at least. however i am used to my native one and like font there a whole lot more. also "zero" and "o" are distingushed better.
you seem to have hands tied up in many matters... i guess everything has its limits but even so, you made a tremendously advanced and flexible yet 'intelligent' d2nt subversion! i didnt know one can even do such a thing. thank you for like a 10th time 
I'd gladly integrate better in the life of this forum but as good as my english may be, i suck with german just as much so i am a bit restricted.
One more thing, i managed to find such a minor bugs: - in file 'craft.nip' [MaxMP] is incorrect, should be [MaxMana]; lines 28 ; 33
- in file 'areas.txt' line 112: '#define LEVEL_RIGID_HIGHLANDS 111' should look like: '#define LEVEL_FRIGID_HIGHLANDS 111' to be consistent with D2 area location names.
i think i use the latest version as the newest file in this build is snagit.ntl: "Last Update: 12:56 09.05.2011"

Automatic skill selection
i have left the skill selection on the config file and 0's to allow the bot to use the skills it finds more affective when it chooses but it dose not use energy shield or frozen armour it selects my skills from my cta and uses them but dose not use any other protective spells is there a way to get it to use energy shield but still allow it the freedom to choose which attack it wants to use with out affecting it using my cta as well?

Was heisst, da steht stopped vor? Werden die Scripte denn ausgeführt?

Es steht "stopped" vor der ScriptDatei und es wird auch nicht die Rundauer angezeigt. Ist doof, da so der Bot nicht auf ein Pause reagiert.

if i understood correctly your bot uses cta fine but wont use any other 'protective' spells?
have no idea if you know but all this spells cast before a fight (like barbs war cries, soso es etc) are called precast. if you didnt turn off overhead status you can see bot telling you "Performing Precast..." at the very begining of each script and sometimes more than once during a script (like diarun).
Hence, you need to go to you char config file: NTConfig_Sorceress_<charname>.ntl, find line ~260:

hay i haven't a clue about any of this so the simpler the better im just fed up of never finding runes so I decided to cheat in order to get them  so what ur saying is my soso dose use energy shield and frozen armour it just dose it so quick i dont see the bot select and cast the spell ?

Moin zusammen,
hier mal die erste Release Version eines kleinen Scripts genannt Waypoint Catcher. Das ganze ist jetzt nichtmal 24h alt, dementsprechend sind vermutlich noch einige Bugs vorhanden. Hinweise dazu nehme ich gerne entgegen. ;)
Features:
- Suchen sämtlicher Wegpunkte mit Ausnahme, wobei in Akt ein durch Probleme im Jail Bereich nach dem Wegpunkt Outer Cloister abgebrochen wird
- Wahlweise auch mit TP an jedem gefundenen Wp, sodass man damit auch anderen (nicht-Bots) die...

Ein kleines Script für diablo, es startet beim eingang macht ein tp cleart den weg zum star macht am star noch ein tp dann läufts wie das normale nur cleart es schöner :)
hoffe euch gefällts ich habs noch nicht wirklich getestet (2-3 runs) bugs können gerne hier gepostet werden verbesserungs vorschläge auch :D
installation:
1.)Script in den Bot ordner kopieren
2.)Script im editor oder vergleichbaren öffnen
3.) Msg´s anpassen (ist nicht schwer)
4.) in der char config die zeile...
