I have never seen that issue before.

2 things I would question are

1. weather or not you have done your ports properly. Without seeing them I would not know.

2. whether or not you have the correct client and an sframe that has been prepared properly.

Hello , i have an issue when i log in , i can select a server , but when i choose that my entire PC shuts down , is it a problem runnng Dedi Serv and Client on same PC ?

All GM Tools are working for 8.1. You have to set permission to 100 that's the only difference to 7.4

Naja, so ganz stimmt das nicht, also dass sie bei allen 8.1 Files funktionieren... Wir haben die die 8.1 Files und auch die Rechte hochgesetzt. Benutzen tun wir das von Xijezu, haben auch schon andere GM-Tools ausprobiert. Aber egal wie hoch wir die Rechte setzen, es klappt einfach nicht. Hast du vielleicht eine Idee wodran das liegen könnte?

I tried to make new NPC's and looked at some Threads in here and used the and others I found. I also tried to copy an old NPC changed the name, text and all but it doesn't work. Since I deleted the new NPC's my Server its crashing all the time... Is there any other way to fix this NPC problem? Or is there any way to make new NPC's I didnt know?

Du bist sicher, dass deine Permission auf 100 ist? Und du fügst die Befehle in den Chat ein? Sorry will dich nicht für doof verkaufen, aber manche vergessen das mit dem einfügen in den chat.

Zu deinem anderen Problem. Steht etwas in dem gameserverlog.txt?

Sie sind auf 100 und Befehle auch hinzugefügt wie in dem Tut... Also steh ich eig mit einem sehr großem Fragezeichen im Gesicht. Zu den NPCs die sind einfach nicht zu sehn.. Ist kein Problem, weißt ja, Frauen und Technik. xP Aber ich will das ja lernen.^^

Tu mir mal einen gefallen gib mal bitte /run warp(0,0) in dein chatfenster ein (also ingame) mit einem char, der permissions hat. Passiert da was?


Zu den NPCs: Nutzt du ein RDB Tool? Wenn du NPCs nur in der DB änderst bzw. hinzufügst funktioniert das in 8.1 nicht mehr. Du musst immer auch die NPCResource.rdb im Client hinzufügen, damit die NPCs sichtbar sind.

Falls du TeamViewer hast könnte ich mir das morgen mal angucken (heute nimma zu müde sorry ) Schreib mir ne PM mit deiner Skype ID dann können wa das so klären. Ist immer einfacher, als hier auf Dauerpost zu gehen
