Hi everyone,
i have a little Problem with Bosscards & Dura Enchantments.
I am currently using the Starts Repack and the 8.1 Client from Tournament.

When i euip a Bosscard, i don't get the Bonus like +20 Crit.Power, nor the Effect will activate.
Also all Dura Items won't get you the Dura Bonus.

Anyone knows why this doesn't work?

I've managed to set up the server without many problems. The problems I did have, I corrected myself. But im having trouble with this one..

The Server is working fine. configured it without any problems. Starting Upload Server, Auth Server, Game Server .. then "start_service" & "set game.open_external 1". All I get is "loaded" "Ok" and "success" .. so no problem there.

I reconfigured my start.bat and the client starts without any problems. I can log into my Account.. and then there is my problem. Once I try to log into my server I get a pop-up windows with symbols. No idea what I can do. I have already tryed using different SFrames. Didnt work.

Here is a folder with Screenshots, the three .opt files and my start.bat


Hope anybody can help

Yeah, I have tryed the gpotato 7.4 Client (German)


And I have tryed the 7.4 Seraph Client


Basicly any Client I could find in Version 7.4. Tryed three different SFrames in those clients.

Looking for others.

EDIT:

I have also tryed Rappelz-Lucius 7.4-8.1 Client.

The thing is .. im not sure what needs to be modified in the client. Id understand if certain Client for other P-Servers wouldn't work, then again dont know wich one will.. and if its actually the client troubling me.

The symbols are actually text that failed to encode properly. (The text is originally Korean) and it is complaining about the connection. More time's than not if you see that window you're encountering a port that's not properly opened.

Checked the Ports .. seem to be ok in the .opt files. Checked the firewall rules:


Dont know where else to look. start.bat auth port is Ok aswell.

Maybe some info on my environment. Im running a Windows 2008 R2 Server on an ESXi 5.1 Host. The network is a Domain Network. Im connecting from a PC within that Domain Network.

I've tryed turning off all firewalls .. doesnt help.

You have set both inbound/outbound rules? This computer is a "Dedicated"? Is the network protected by a hardware firewall? Did you restart the machine after setting all ports?

Yes, both inbound and outbound.
Yes, the VM is dedicated. Only running the SQL Server and the Rappelz Server.
The Hardware-Firewall isnt configured to handle traffic within the network. Only outbound.
Yes, I have restarted the machine after the port configuration.

I have tested it within a local network. Laptop directly on to my server. Gave the Rappelz Server a local adress, my laptop aswell. Just to make sure there is no component inbetween making problems. didnt help either

Not sure man, you say VM. That makes me think that you aren't on your own dedicated machine. Perhaps I am misunderstanding, Rappelz loves to just be a ****-hole on anything aside of a dedicated machine.

I have a physical Server.. a HP DL380 G5 running ESXi 5.1.

Im running a virtual Windows Server 2008 R2 Machine (VM) on that Host.

Or perhaps our interpretation of "dedicated" is different The virtual Windows 2k8 R2 has only the DB Server and Rappelz running, nothing else.

The client is on my Laptop. Nothing to it really.

Makes me sad.

Cause im not one for giving up.. im now installing the **** sql database on my laptop. Have everything on one machine.. lets see whats happens.

Whats with the console port and password in the gameserver.opt? I tryed opening that port aswell. Didnt help much. Other login infos i need here?

console = telnet, I'd leave those closed and password'd for now.
