im useing age of rappelz i dont understand, ive hd no issues, i was ingame , i fixed some problems fixed genies, and then i change db and bam now its all messed up im still useing same client that worked prior, so i dont understand whats messed up

Massimino, although its amusing to run around with GM buffs and other hackery, I'm not entirely sure posting videos of it on youtube is the best idea. :/

Call me paranoid, fair enough, but I'd rather Gala/nFlavor didnt know there was a free pserver running around online myself.

if i block my account it lets me login but its banned, but if i set block to 0 it says it dont exist

fixed the dont exist error but now it closes client when i login

i dont understand this lol ive had n issues then all the sudden hundreds

When you say you changed db, what exactly did you change?
I doubt it's a problem with the client, myself, and most likely a db related issue.

Tried restoring the db to the default backups that came in JW's pack?

yeah when i restored to the auth server of jw then i went from not being able to login to not being able to create a char but if i use all of jws files it works fine, im trying to use the dbs released on here with other fixes

also when i make a new account can i use just a user/pass or do i need to tconvert to md5? i just been useing the default account do you happen to have skype so i can not spam here?

I dont use Skype, and asking genuine questions regarding problems that haven't been covered 700+ times, isnt spamming in my eyes.

You might be able to un-do the MD5 code, but why would you want to do this?
Salted-MD5 passwords aint the best security sure, but its better than none?

If your lazy, just make 1 salted md5 pass, and make a bunch of accounts directly in the DB, using the same pass. Then you can test with multiple accounts, with multiple chars per account, and only remember one password.

Depends if your making accounts just for you and local testing, or for friends to test stuff with you.

thing is i dont know how to make a mds5 salt pass i did try to search it, but no luck im still learning tbh but im trying my hardest, so if you know a mds5 pass for 12345 that would be great then maybe i could figure out what the problem is then i could work on my server more i was working on geting the cordinates for every official spawn

Ah, that bit has been covered in this thread, and I think in JW's guide thread too.

Basically, if you want the password 1234, and your server files ( think its authserver.opt, off top of my head ) has the md5 salt as = 2011,

then you need to use an online md5 generator (fast/easy way to do it)

and enter: 20111234

ie, 2011 + 1234 = salt + password = 20111234
then md5 it, stick the resulting md5 into your db for the accounts.

when you login ofcourse, the password is just 1234, the authserver adds the salt, and md5's it for you.

Just the MD5 hash, 32character string.

just make sure when you make the md5, the string used is salt+password.

then enter just the hash: 99c3afba2b5d8488b1bfe476ec77ee5f
into your accounts db

ive got an issue that im not sure how to fix, my herlock wont connect to my aurora even with the code to connect them entered, anyone have an idea of a solution to getting them to mingle?

i know its been answered but i got 6 npcs that are from kts, and custom made that people had but how do i get them to open ? i click open shop but nothing happens i saw it but i duno what page
