You can get seriously hurt or killed in training, too... stay safe!
Taking those situations for granted is how it happens.

Thanks for this version it's awesome!
This might be a personal thing but I would recommend no waiting while hands of the gods is in use since you don't lose durability, the only drawback is possibly going unstable so i guess its really a toss up, nothing major.
Only other thing I can see is the Synthesis Statistics window does not scroll down as new messages pop up so the newest is not shown.

It should scroll down when you activate the bot window, let me know.

After you begin a craft sequence, you must go back and forth between the status tab and one of the other tabs to update the "Scroll" of the status tab status window. The status tab status window will only re-scroll when you go back and forth again. That has been my experience. I don't really see it as a negative, just a nuance.

Best of luck to him. Which branch?
I noticed last night that after finishing crafting it didn't close out for me. I noticed that the what to do after synth is complete doesn't Grey out during synths. I took that to mean Ii could add an action or change my mind. But it just did nothing.
Could you Grey this out too? Or maybe my computer just messed up. Its not working now and I'm sending this via phone

I might've just fixed this, haven't tested it though. It might not seem like a big deal, but when someone uses the bot for the first time and that kind of stuff happens it can be really confusing/frustrating. My goal is to make a bot that is intuitive enough that it does not require explanation or instruction.

Apparently you've never been burned by a soldering iron, or hot solder, for that matter. What if you burn your bot-clicking finger?

Well that's certainly a new one. Was it guildleve mode?

I have, in the past, I'm just much better at it now. Electronic repair is my job in the Corps. No faith, man. And I did think about what could happen to my digits! Funny you thought the same

Now that my computer is done doing a freaking 2 hour system restore (!) I can explain better.
I had started the synths to "do nothing" afterwards (not a guildleve) and then realized it was going to take a while, so went to the options tab and changed it to logout and close game. After the night the synths were done, but i was still crouched.
I'd at least like to know what the program is supposed to do. Should we be able to change the after action during the synth or did that sneak past you? Also it may have been my computer, because I remember changing this on the fly while dualbotting once and it DID work.. hrm...

Ah, right... that's because it only passes the values in when it begins. I'll try to solve this today. It also means the popup and sound options are not able to be changed during synthesis. Thanks.

First round was unsuccessful, so I changed my strategy and have a scan running now... the new approach is to get the chat log data and use that instead of the widget text. Once I have the chat log information it will automatically be integrated into both the fish bot (required) as well as the craft bot (required for some features). Once I have that information, tell notifications will be added to both programs, and an early version of the fish bot can be produced. Once that's done, it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine using the bot to chat with people while it is running.
But before we get too far ahead of ourselves... MastrKraftr need some tweaks, the bugs you guys reported eliminated, and more responsiveness between login and when the main window opens. I'd also like to fix the really occasional issue where it can get stuck after the recipe window closes, on main hand. All of those things will take some time, but I need to find the details in memory anyhow.
MK will be getting synthesis speed enhancements today, at least during the synthesis itself. In a future version I have something planned so the bot will be available with limited capabilities within 30-60 minutes of maintenance.
Stay tuned.

Always! and i've been happy to notice that you're at the refining portion of the program now, and everything for a while (besides maintenance) has been polish. Keep up the good work!
edit: Accidently opened an older version ( I keep a copy of them all on my dropbox) and noticed you put a message to download a more recent version, NICE TOUCH!

Yeah, it's kind of depressing because the changes are somewhat intangible to regular users, but it prevents the program from going into disrepair.

The old versions (for now) become completely useless after maintenance, might as well delete them since they're just taking up space. v1.3.2.8 is the only working version until I release a new one later today *coughhopefullycough*.
About the required update message: I do my best to envision how people use the program, what their questions might be, etc... it can be difficult though because I'm looking at things though a much different perspective. If it just said the program was too old or any other non-explicit message, people probably wouldn't know there was a way to update. That one is pretty obvious, but stuff like Pause-then-Stop would take a long time to predict.
Lately I've been considering making a series of short (20-30 seconds?) videos that show each of the features since I'm not sure everyone knows what things like "peeking" at abilities are or how bold mode works. It would be a good opportunity to show the "don't do this!" scenarios, too.
I can record and edit those videos in all of my spare time

No reason to be sad. The quality of the program speaks for itself. Tell me what you want as far as video. I do extensive video work. I have no qualms spitting those out. Ill pm you a video i take pride in
Forgot to mention I already made a Youtube act a while ago exactly for this. Xivtoolsuser

Cool, really just looking for basic demonstrations. My big hangup is audio for the video, all the free music is just plain bad and voicing the videos is even more of a headache.
The idea is just for people to see the features without having to run the program. Eventually it would be cool to have links to short videos in the bulleted list so people can preview the individual features as separate videos to save them time, but that's a long-term goal.
I almost forgot to mention... looks like I got the data for the craft support timer.
Edit: wow, you were pretty into it shortly after it went public lol, you made the account like a week later.

You are probably already aware and it may have been discussed earlier in this thread, but there was a program called Crabby that I think made use of the chat log. The author released the source code to it, so if you don't have that it might be of some use? I think it contained a struct of the offsets for all the various chat stuff. Of course all of that may have changed, probably has, but if you need/want a copy I think I still have it on one of my hdd's
