yes, i am trying to learn this cheat engine / address / offset / pointer
and reading forums and watching youtubes

but still ... i am missing something ... so ... can you help?

i am in aion, targeting a mob, using cheat engine 6.2
i scan on mob ... grove abex ... get a list of addresses
i target different mob ... do next scan ... why does it not update my list with new mob?

so, yes ... i am not making the connection somewhere

Is there a different site that would provide some suggestions on how to find the orb status? Using success/fails as a means to cycle waits like Cooleko does seems weak to me. Hoping someone will throw a bone.

I won't PM again if you do not respond since at that point I'm assuming there's some legal jargon squeezin yer precious parts such that answer would result in sacrificing them.

Oh, and if it is all homegrown and no open source libs then that's the answer. I usually like to start from something that works to learn new areas. Maybe I'm lazy but that's what the tell us engineers to be, lazy that is, so we invent stuff to make us even lazier I guess.

So I won't bother you much more and if there's not much to share I understand as sometimes the knowledge is kept close to the chest.

I was originally thinkin bout using winpcap to sniff the IP packets as I am pretty sure that's what YG does to collect their data. But that would take digging thru packet data to figure out which ones are which. What I was hoping to learn is what tools/libs people use to attach to another program and read its memory.

I come from a UNIX world, then mostly web tech, so I'm not an expert on windows but did Android stuff on PC (still no help in figuring out windows based stuff) but trying to get into this stuff is harder when no none knows ya, so no one wants to help or kick start ya. It'd be way easier if there was a goole proecjt for this so people could learn.

In any case, just knowing some of the libs/tools people use is a starting point.
