Jezus! I got the bsod yesterday, but i was doing bad things.. benchmarking while trying to find the right multipliers for overclocking.

Working great for me as well, though the problem with the stop button is still ever present. I don't personally need it or use it (i just use pause if i need to interrupt my crafting), but i do occasionally try it just to see if its working. Once the current synth finishes, it just stops the bot and all the options remain grey and unclickable. Maybe I'm using it wrong? Not sure, but it's always been like that since the very first version i used.

It's nothing major, just thought I should let you know it's still happening. I just have to close the bot and reopen it if i wanna change any settings, since the stop button renders it unclickable (i think i like that word, and it's not even a real one).

Anyways, great program as always, and your updates continue to come in fast and flawlessly. I really like the ability to use preserve and fulfillment both. It increased my success rate of synths 5-8 ranks higher than me from about 75% to about 85%, which is very very bad ***.

Are you sure about this?

When the stop button is clicked now, it becomes "Stop Now", which will completely drop what it is doing and reset the bot.

Maybe 1.3.2.4 or so had that problem, but it should've been fixed in the past few versions. If you still have this problem, can you give exact steps to reproduce?

I accidently synthed with hasty hands on for a leveling synth -.- 65 synths later I had a 3/4 success rate and lots of mats gone! My fault completely, but at least I can sell the items and get all my money back. Guess I'll just buy some and try again!

Long story short, even with a leveling recipe, it has a good success rate :thumbsup:


Hrm... Now Hasty hands isnt working. Hrm... Going to try and recreate this.

Ok.. Im dual boxing and trying to get hasty hands to work (not trying other abilities) pausing it, stopping it and even restarting the program with the other instance running does not fix it. *shrug* first issue I've ever had.

Nother thought, the status window doesn't automatically scroll down when a new text line is added. You have to go and scroll down manually. Any way to have it adjust so you can always see the most current synths?

Ok, other abilities dont work either. I've changed nothing.. The issue literally came out of no where. I was watching a movie when this started happening. I'm going to try one instance and see if that fixes it.

Ok that did it... Not sure why that would be an issue. Got the other box up and running fine too...

Does it fail for both game processes? So far, no other reports other than the one person who rebooted to fix it.

I'll stay logged in as long as possible after this fish scan to see if I can reproduce and fix the problem.

I've been trying to reproduce Athenoth's problem and haven't had much luck. Maybe try restarting FFXIV and possibly your comp?

Yeah, just closing both programs then opening one, getting things started then another worked fine. Just seems weird. I dual box every day and havent had that happen yet

I kept editing my original post and didnt see that people had made replies till I got things working again @_@

Something else I'd like to see in addition to the scrolling status I mentioned above would possibly be the option to have it stop after X successful synths. I'm synthing exact numbers of materials right now, and if I get one or five failures, I still have to go back and synth the ones I miss. Then if I fail another one, I have to go back until I get my total amount. You already poll for successful synth quantity. Any way to feed that back into the machine?

Also, could you explain how the cycling recipes works? I want to try it, but I'm not sure whats going to happen >_<

I've thought about this in the past but not sure how I would like to implement it since there are quite a few options, most of which would be different across dissimilar synths. Would also need to add some kind of list, and way of adding/removing items from it. So fairly substantial UI changes there.

It can be done but I think there some implications I need to think about: cycle mode/todo list and the "or" situation possibility for the existing mode and new mode. Probably some other things I haven't realized yet, too.
Maybe its as simple as a queue? For a simple start it could rely on the game recipe list. The user could just checkbox each of the recipes they want to make (1-6 or 1-8 however many it remembers), the number of synths to do of each one, and the parameters associated with each synth. Rather than program in checkbox's for preserve etc, perhaps a single character values could be used delimited by coma's in a text box next to each recipe in the queue

Of course that would only work for a single "job type"

But it may be worth implementing just to enhance the current cycle function

My policy is to try to do things one time, the right way. So I'll just do the really... uh, shiny todo list thing.

I did read it! I probably know this thread better than everyone but you -_-

I remember the cycle recipes thing being really retarded, which is why i asked again how it was workin. =-P

All the bugs are starting to come out for me. >.> getting weird crashes randomly while trying to dual. I think most of them would be ok if I could just get the damn PIDs to attach right. Is there any way to make the second instance of MK 'see' what PID the first instance is using then NOT select it? I keep confusing the two and locking everything up.
