rolling with .7 now and things are looking good, tested all the abilities. a few things i would like to see, i know you're working on a drop down or better check box system and then adding all the abilities so that's one thing.
the next would be adding recipe choices, i know you're familiar with moetoy's bot, i like his system of adding recipes and paramaters for each recipe that he has going on although you wouldnt need to limit yourself to 8, really you could do all 64 recipes and even the guild leve's via a drop down menu that queue's up all the recipes. to limit the ui clutter here's what i envision. you would have a recipe button that pops a window up to input all your recipes and then adds them to a list. which will be a second window you can open and hide to see what recipes are still coming/you've done already. like i said you can add in as many recipes to the list as you want so could be from all classes and what not.
classs - recipe # - amount - skills - what ever else you needed
like i said, similar to the moetoy setup which he did really well. i dont want to step on any toes but his bot is really really good with the exception of it can't and won't ever be able to be minimized due to ahk.
the third thing i was hoping for was a bit of a speedup in the overall sense. there can be a lot of tightening done here and there, i realize its loose atm to accommodate slower/laggier situations, but i think i can do max 60-70 hasty hand crafts an hour. i see a lot of time wasted between the menu presses is the biggest, and then the rest is waiting on pushing the synth button. just getting that out there as a concern, not a big issue again with where you are at with working on it.
let me know if you have any questions about my recipe idea as i can see what i want in my head but i dont know if i conveyed it correctly :P

Good to hear, thanks for noting it.

Nah, your description seems clear to me.
I have plans for a "todo list", as described it will be a variable-length list but the todo list will probably be a separate tab (not a popup), so you can manage the list of queued items separately from the actual synthesis parameters. It isn't hard to imagine needing a few buttons for the list: move recipe up/down, remove recipe, edit recipe, insert recipe, etc. You mentioned keeping the UI free of clutter, which is something I've tried to do all along, but feel like it is getting pretty crowded just due to the number of options/features, so I might move abilities off of the main UI before adding the todo list, I've been thinking about the order of those things.

This is planned in the form of "no wait" (full steam) or "random wait" (natural pace) options with keystroke validation when synthesizing - which will act as a failsafe when the bot is running at full steam under lagged conditions. The validation is similar to the failsafe for the "requested items" list (automatically pops out), and since 1.3.2.7 the recent recipe list also has that feature (the bot will not select the wrong recipe).
Also in coming versions will be some minor tweaks like the UI's unresponsiveness between the time you login and when the bot window appears. Unfortunately I have a lot of RL work I need to finish up this week, but it looks like I might have some time off next week. If things are situated well enough at work for me to take the time off, there's a strong chance that all of these enhancements will be live, and I can FINALLY begin work on a fish bot...

Someone else had to right-click and unblock, but it sounded like you already did that. Norton blocks the program out of an abundance of caution just like , its a real pain.
If you can't get it working in a few days I will probably have to release a version with an installer and all the other components that article recommends, which might cut down on features... but will at least alleviate the false positive reports from Norton/Avira. If you tried that, which AV & version are you running?

Only Avira mistook it for malware in an online scan
I reported it to Avira as a false positive, not sure how long it might take or if it will even clear things up for people automatically.

Woah. Reinstall Avira or something else now, even if you can't use the bot... don't uninstall your virus software until you have something to replace it with.
Having two of them installed at the same time can cause problems, so don't do that... but don't use your computer without any antivirus software at all
Your ISP probably offers Norton or McAfee for free. Norton will warn you about the program for the reasons listed in the article I linked, but you can allow the program to work by right-clicking it and changing something in properties.
You should reinstall Avira until you make a decision.

I use Free AVG and have no issues. Hope that helps someone as it isn't much info and Tiaque was going to test it.

[possible bug report 1.3.2.7]
using "stop now" functionality fails to reset the progress bar. progress bar does reset on next synthesize click.
not sure if this is intentional or unintentional-

All the stats stay there too, I don't think there would be much advantage to resetting the UI. Sometimes it is helpful (for example) to see how much durability your last synth ended up with. It is intentional, I figured it would be preferred.

I thought it may have been intentional and I agree it is useful to have the stats there.
All is working well with the new version, no issues here although I do have a request =)
Earlier I paused, with the intention of continuing a synth after I had vendored some things. So I went to vendor my stuff, then I notice I am out of shards, so I wanted to stop the synyth I was doing, and change to alchemist to crack some crystals.
It seems that once paused, you can only resume, the stop button is gray.
This is probably a low probability event, but its an observation - would be useful to stop, after a pause if user has a change of heart =)
Still a great program, tx for your hard work!

I've never waited long enough for that to happen but I believe I've waited upwards of a minute or so.
It doesn't really bother me so I haven't bothered investigating to any great detail. I figure it's an issue with hitting your webserver perhaps and the app is just blocked on that communication.
