Everything is loading fine server side (no errors) the 2 commands are enabled. I don't get any errors client side. I am running it through my router IPv4 and also tried it through the local port 127.0.0.1. both login in the client fine. then disconnect once I select the server. It gives me the logging in to server box. Then a you have been disconnected from the server box. Its driving me nuts.

It must be SFrame,

Use older 7.4's SFrame (I think there is one on the Download Center).
Or use our latest 7.4's released gameserver (will be little hard to configure the databases to be loaded, so I recommend you to use the SFrame trick).

Well I am back after some testing of sframe files and client versions and I have not found the right version of client. Once I log in I get the "You may not create this character" issue.
I am using the link for GS files from JW988's post found here:


Does anyone know what client version works best with these GS files? I've tried a few now but with no luck.

/run syntax has to be used in the client window chat box of a gm character (permission = 100)

there is still 2 open questions... if anyone could help:


1 - I downloaded a package named "kts repack v1.1". it has nice NPC (setup by twilightprince i suppose) and cubric dungeon working but there is no on_login.lua in the script folder, and even if i put one in there login-buffs do not work (while they do works if i use a different server with the same databases)
Any idea about which could be the problem and how to fix it ? Maybe i should "tell" the server to go read on_login.lua in some way ?

2 - all ingame actions that require access to the database lag the game a lot (drops, enchanting, items bought...) i'm, using win7x64 with mssql2012-32bit (but i tried 64bit too...) is there a way to fix this lag ?

Hello there

I have the problem where i type start_service and nothing happen's so i type set game.open_external 1 and nothing happen's also...

the start service is the main problem though, just nothing happens when i type it and press enter...

Thanks musta, using an older 7.4 client fixed the issue I had with the inability to select the TestServer! Thanked.

why can i buff me on my server and cant give me items with the commands in gameserver =O

it was from one to other second still can make buffs but items now not more =(

any1 can help?

I didn't understand you, but if you like to add items using gameserver you'll need:

#learn_all_skill("charname")

If else, you can make your character GM with permission 100 on Telecaster db,
and you'll be able to add items using:

/run insert_item(id,cnt,enh,lv,flag) --(ithink)

Just Change to 100? Or to 1 one Guy told me to Change it to 1 and nothing happened.

And then when i done it, i can write ingame

Check your opt's, use 127.0.0.1 as a login ip.

and don't forget to compress them.
