hi all

i am to server 9.1 revolution

i want add tamed pets to my npc vendor

the tamed pet i want is hector = id = 86005

i edit dbo market resource and create a market called test

and add hector id.

after i edit my lua to :

dlg_menu( "Pets 9.1", "open_market('test')" )

but don't work

i tested the second solution :

i edit only the lua

function purchase_pet()
insert_item(86005, 1, 1, 1, -2147483648)
end

dlg_menu("Pets 9.1", 'purchase_pet()' )

don't work too

I am frustrated trying to get the server up and running on my local host comp. I have follow both instruction on the old 8.1 and the new 9.1 and still can not get my local server to even connect.

I am using the files for 9.1 but I am not sure which client file to use.

Please help very frustrated.

I get the Arcadia crash dump file when I start the CaptainHerLockServer.

Before I initiated the CaptainHerlockServer, I did this:

I click on rzauth, rzbenchauth in the auth_bin, but was unsuccessful, cant even coonect to ipaddress: 127.0.0.1

Well if you are using 9.1 then isn't it really obvious you should use a 9.1 client? Kind of a stupid question, but here's the answer -

I get the Arcadia crash dump file when I start the CaptainHerLockServer.
Check your crash logs (\Game_bin\Log\) and read up what's causing the crash.. Oh wait that wouldn't work. Right. Copy & paste the log here so we can fix that aswell.

So I just reinstall everything and gonna try again. But this time I run into a snag.

I launch SQL Configuration Manager, on the services tabs list the servers.

So, by clicking on the Server Network Configuration, and selecting Protocols for <xxxxxxx>server name. Gives me the Shared memory, name pipes, and tcp/ip.

I enable both the Name pipes and the TCP/IP. Then I click properties on TCP/IP and onto IP Addresses Tab, and scroll all the way down to:

IPALL
- TCP Dynamic Ports: 127.0.0.1
- TCP Port: 0

After applying the affects, and restarting the server, I get a warning message that its not connecting or something.

How do I fix this.
