use no-ip dyn dns client and use duc client tool on your pc. there u can update your dyndns with this tool and there u cane change your local duc connection onto your LAN Client IP. in the past i use the same, running the server behind a router on a second pc.
think of forwarding ports to yourserver pc.

A small tit for what i searched 3 weeks along. i become a new provider using cabelbox and ipv6 and and an. behind the box in my lan the serevr was free fpr inet connect. my friends have played on my server, but I, i who sit nxt to my server withe the client pc, CANT CONNECT TO THE SERVER. The issue was to write my IP Adress into the server pc's host file and his ip in mine. (Windows/System32/driver/etc/hosts)

also it is posible to write your dyndns ip in the host to connect directly with this ip to the server. (therefore u only need 1 launcher without other settings maybe it shut work for other systems to.)

For Halloween,

If the exclamation mark is shown, the npc musst be probably there (OTHERWISE it would be falling down to the ground, HARHARHAR)

Checked that race_id mached model_file? - x,y,z is set? local_flag is set to 0 or your localecode. look into npc_event lua and get npc_id for your locale state code. activate this id and deactivate all other nps's on same position (for all other locale)

on_login.lua has code for deleting halloween flag's on login, i thing that this code could be commended out otherwise flags wuld be deleted every time u log.

look at monster_respawn for halloween code!

look at statecode instruction above. look at the lua for uncommendet halloween code und activate it.

look at npc_event period resource and check if your locale npc is activaded for the halloween eventtime. otherweise set time for start and end,
and deactivade all other not used halloween npc's with not used locale_flag.

last thing, check-> motion_file of model_id and check texture_group
at the end of npc_resource.

-1 is default texture group(eg 1 is KS model) if all tipp's dont match, change model_file to another model_id and let it be a little bit custom by our work. or make new line and take contact_script and edit lua and/or quest resource for npc's quests to the new npc id.

Auth Databases

Were can i find the Auth databases? I cannot download them on Mega anymore.

Auth has been the same forever, Look at the collection of tools thread and the different server file releases and get auth database from another release.

8.1 was one of the few released without the auth so try the other versions.

7.4 6.3 5.x 9.1 all had auth released with the repacks.

Maybe anyone know how to make stackable items in inventory like the Scrolls and Cards?

Thanks it stack the items when i add 64 to item flag. But now i need to know how i can add the number to the inventory. Like the number of scrolls in the corner of the picture

well ive just come back to the rappelz p server scene after a few years.
havent setup a server in a long time.
well everything is running with the auth emu
but when i try to login with any of the chracters i made for my account i get this error

received message from unlogined connection : 61(27)
even if i use the real auth server i get this error

auth.opt

common.opt

gameserver.opt


and yes just trying to set it up for myself to play around with lua scripts and such.
last time i touched rappelz was when me and my friend helped smoke get 8.1 files working

Everything seems to look OK the only things I would question are...

Do you have the correct auth port in the .bat file...

Do you have the 9.1 client?

Do you have any of the port numbers conflicting with something else?

I'd like to know, or get software to edit the news dbo (NPCResource/ItemResource/.../)

yes i have 9.1 client.
the bat file is connecting to 58422 when i login to account and select a character i get that error and no ports are conflicting. that was one of first things i checked

can anyone give me an example for two functions one of return value and the other just declare a new variable have the return value from the first function ?
