I don't think you understand what's said in the thread. You'll be able to refer MAX 5 friend. That means - ww skin, twitch skin + 5000 IP and that's it.

He's saying that they should be targeting the leveling bots for smurf accounts rather than RAF ones. Most of the RAF bots use private games which doesn't affect the matchmaking experience. The level 15 limitation forces leveling a smurf account to play in matchmaking though, and that's what's mostly causing the ruined experience.

Granted, aside from the standpoint of me getting a bunch of free ****, I actually agree with taking out the RAF bonuses...but this isn't going to stop bots from ruining other people's experiences in mm games. It's actually going to probably make it worse since people like me using bots for RAF will probably just use it to level accounts in dominion for selling.

2. Banwave incoming for people with 100 or more friends at level 10.

It is so easy for riot to ban them immediately, i no doubt, but if they wanted they could just do it instead of changing the raf system.

When i set up my vm and install league, whenever i try to log in(normally through vm) i get the server not respond error, i tried both the fixes on

Need like 15 more acc's for 100, Any help would be appreciated.

Read the blog post:

...RAF botting mostly took place in private custom games, where players’ experiences weren’t affected...We'll be taking reactive action against an array of offenders with the goal of stemming this trend.

We found that...(the number of bots) skyrockets to 99% when you count only those with 100 or more referrals. We understand that the current RAF reward structure isn’t ideal for the average player, which is why the reactive efforts we mentioned earlier are focused specifically on dedicated and repeated offenders - no one's going to be punished for referring a smurf or two.
