edit: for reference ive provided my debug log whenever I did try putting the skills on my firstbar but my 1,2,3,4 keys were on bar 5

Hey, at first, thank you a lot for keeping the bot up to date. I really appreciate it!

I don't know if this is just for me or the specific location but for me the bot seems to have troubles with collectibles. I remember this not being a problem when I used the bot in HW and SB and I never changed my keybindings.
It worked in one session in ShB but only for like 3 collectibles. It was when I was playing a video in full screen while having the bot the background. Yet I can't reproduce that behaviour.
Normal behaviour (with both cases: FF in focus or not): Collectible window pops, bot waits and nothing else happens.
Fishing spot: Norvrandt Slope, Tempest
Settings: Mooch, Chum; Min Coll. 1; Autodetect

If you need more information, please feel free to ask.

Edit: I'm currently using the bot through TeamViewer since I'm not home. The collection of colltibles seems to work now after I had to do it manually 3 times.

I have seen this happen if the character is fishing while sitting, but I'll add that to my todo list to check up on.

Oookay, this is actually the case. Well, I don't even know why I do this, but if it helps to make the bot work in the meanwhile, I'll just keep my character standing.

Would you guys be ok with sharing anonymous fishing information via the bot? Information such as where you caught a fish, what time, weather, bait etc? I'm thinking of adding a feature that will help you see what fish you can catch at a location, plus what time, weather bait etc is required, but in order for it to work I need a database of this information. Normally I would just get the information from ffxiv angler, however they don't provide a proper API to get this info.

Everytime you catch a fish the bot would inform my server of your catch and the fishing conditions.

You would ofcourse be able to opt out of sharing this information.

Hi, I've been using this bot and I found it really useful.

May I know what language did you use to code this? Or do you have some dlls or libraries you use? I read in the first page that you are reading memory pointers, do you have some list of them or where to get them? I wanna create my own simple bot just for personal use.

I am looking forward if you can help me with this matter.

I'm having an issue where it doesn't seem to want to use powerful/percision hooksets, it casts Patience II just fine but afterwards it just tries to use regular hook.

The latest update didn't break the bot, so yeah it works.

The bot works with the current version. FFXIV does not currently have any client side detection of bots (atleast not that I have stumbled upon), so most bans occur due to player reports.

I always recommend never using a bot while AFK.

The bot is coded in C#, though I have started writing it as a side project in Go.

I use dlls that windows comes with, like kernel32.dll. Google around for ReadProcessMemory then you'll very quickly find some guides for how to read the memory of another process.

I use Cheat Engine when researching the datastructures in the game, and I use IDA to reverse engineer the client, though I haven't had much need for RE lately.

There can be two reasons for this, either it doesn't see your abilities, or your character did not have enough GP to use them.
It is most likely the former, while I'm going to guess is because you have powerful/precision hooksets on a hotbar that is not 1 or 2. Let me know if this is not the case.

My hooksets were on the same bar as my Patience, it could cast patience fine. I had enough gp for it cause I took over when I noticed it wasn't using the hooksets.

The bot is working for me so far, if I dont use any optional skills. Activating Fish Eyes causes my char to spam Fish Eyes, then stop fishing completely and waiting for enough GP to be able to use Fish Eyes again.

Is it possible that Fish Eyes option is bugged?
