Firstly, let us know some basic knowledge about fishing in ffxiv.as we know,whatever In ffxiv or in life,Different fish live in different water,so we need different baits for fishing. for example:
1 Floating Minnow (made by minnow) 、lugworm(live in the sand)、Chocobo Fly(made bychocobo feather)、Goby Ball(mixed by goby and rye flour) fit for ocean fishing;
2.Moth Pupa(made by a kind of adult moth) fit for fresh water fishing;

Elementary bait such as worms is fit for shallow layer fish.but level 5 bomb hook can fishing lower layer fish.
the grade 5 fitting is very nice,it should be to use in level 2 or 3,then bait will been not easy lost.
the real bait will been lost when the blue bar appear but Chocobo Fly is not,Chocobo Fly price is 48 gil, and the cheapest worm is 3 gil.
Chocobo Fly will been lost At least 10 times out of blue bar appear, or will lose after 20 times if you are good luck enough.according the cost of Chocobo Fly for is pretty good.
