Free FFXIV Fishing Bot, works with v2.3.5

Hey Stolas,

I've been using your bot since the very beginning. Love it. It's great.

New version works great on NA. Only issue I have is that it's not reeling using Powerful and Precision hooksets on either Patience I or II. Are there perhaps some specific settings required to utilize the hooksets? Thanks!

I got this bug right before it tries to get the fish (it fail to get it) and the bot stops.

Could you guys try the latest version of the bot?

For Powerful/Precision hooksets, you only need to activate patience 1 or 2 under the settings tab, however there was a bug that prevented the bot from knowing if patience was active. v3.1.3.0 should work.

Fairly new to this, so I might be doing something wrong for sure, I have set it up and followed all the steps, but when I start it, keeps pressing "Hook" instead of "Cast" and then it just stops, I tried to change where the buttons are located and still the same, it keeps starting to pick hook to start of with.

Is there something I missed? Would be nice if anyone has a solutions for this.

The bot currently requires that the hotbars are setup with the default keymap (From left to right, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,-,=). Do you have your hotbar setup differently?

EDIT: Could someone verify that 3.1.3.0 is working in dx11 mode?

Could you add keybind settings for the abilities? (Cast, Hook, etc.)

It is not so convinient to reset hotbar keybinding every time ...

Excellent, excellent job! This is the first time I ever used something like this and I love it. If all bot UIs were this liteweight and easy, Id be willing to pay. Hate the idea of all-in-one messy stuff like the others.

But may I ask, what is that timer in the UI, in the middle? To the right of fish caught counter. I have no clue what thats for lol

The timer in the middle is an estimate of how long it will take you to level up. Only useful if you're not max level.

Yeah it's on my radar. I'm currently trying to create an automatic way of detecting the keybindings. I'll post an update once I get further with it.

I am currently having this issue too. I'm not sure if there is a specific hotbar setting im suppose to have or not have but i have reset my keybinds and reset my hotbar 1 back to the original 'left to right' bar. For some reason, with patience on, it doesnt seem to locate or use my powerful hookswt unless i manually switch the hook and p.hookset icons. That seems to be the only way i can get it to work. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

It seems that this Bot stopped when overlapping Mooch and Use Chum.
Chum doesn't work when Mooch prepared.

That is, select "Use Chum" only, this Bot will stop when Player gets HQ fishes and GP is full.

Could you please confirm the issue?

Could you elaborate?

Chum should be activated when it isn't active and you have full GP.

If you have mooch selected then mooch will take priority. If this is the issue then let me know.

in FFXIV logs,
"Mooch to land an even bigger catch!"
1.selected "Mooch" and "Use Chum".....recast my line with the fish and keeping Bot
2.selected "Use Chum" only, not full GP.....cast fishing line and keeping Bot
3.selected "Use Chum" only, full GP.....don't cast fishing line and stop Bot

In the case of 3, the following message appeared on the Aquabot logs.
