What do you mean based on chat log? I play in English and also have my chat logs split in different windows. Is that suppose to be a certain way, also? I can be in patience but it wont recognize powerful hookset. Only hook. What should i fix?

The bot should still be working after the latest update to the game.
I have a few minor changes in the works for the bot, but let me know if there are any features you would like to see added to the bot.

Is something like:
-Stop fishing after a while and run some meters left or right and start fishing again-
possible?
So the "Fish is not biting any longer" does not occur
loving the Fishing Bot so far

Is there any pointer that gives you what you've actually hooked prior to catching? Or do you only know the type of tug beforehand - I think it'd be cool to be able to specify a fish to catch only, or eventually to filter out specific ones you dont want to catch. But I have a feeling you dont know what you've hooked until after the catch is made.

In the game memory, you know the strength of the tug, one of three, as soon as the tug animation starts on your screen. If you hook, as soon as the server responds you know if it's a line break, got away, not suitable bait, NQ or HQ result. After the animation completes you know the particular fish and size.
With specialized knowledge you can narrow it down at the tug phase - sometimes to only one fish - depending on where you are, what the time and weather is, what bait you are using, what buffs you have and how long the fish took to bite. For example if you are at Tharl Oom Khash with a Giant Crane Fly bait and get a heavy tug within 2 seconds you can be 100% sure it is a Storm Chaser. Unfortunately, even Cat Became Hungry does not log all of these particulars.

That's mostly what I figured, and unfortunately what I was afraid of. You can do some narrowing down, but that leads to problems when it comes to mooching. The problem would be, you know that the fish that you want is a medium tug, but in order to get that medium tug, you have to mooch a light tug fish HQ (I'm not even 100% sure if this is a case, I think it is though). In order to guarantee that fish, you have to allow both medium and light tugs, at both HQ and NQ, which means in the end, you're gonna wind up with a ton of fish that you likely dont need.
But! That's just the way things are , there's nothing to do about it but live with it - and keep that inventory open. I can't think of many other features tbh, fishing is pretty basic.

Anyone else having the bot not using hooksets under patience? Everything works until it uses patience, I have the hooksets on bar 2, does the hotkey matter?

You can easily make code/options for Light Tug vs Light Mooch Tug. Nothing can be done about NQ/HQ though.

Yeah I've heard people have had these issues. I think a lot of the issues are based on people having different keybindings than the default one, but I'm looking into it.
