Not right now, updates to the bot are on hold for now as I am busy with other projects.
I am also unsure of whether I'll continue to be subscribed to FFXIV, so we'll see what happens.

I deactivated too; its a shame the gamehacking scene is so dead. In 1.0 these forums were active but now most of the chat threads are German.
Guess I'll do programming I can get paid for instead.

Yeah I would love to be part of an active gamehacking community, but so far the ones I've found are mostly dead...
But I have some free time right now so I'll be taking another look at implementing some of those features you mentioned, firstly the chat log since being able to read it would be very beneficial.

I've actually been thinking about getting chatlog details in the near future, let me know if you want to collaborate.

I need some time to get back into the game and get back into the zone, but I'm all for collaborating in the future.
In regards to the chat log: I found where the game stores the entire chat log, and I have managed to create an AoB to locate it.

Thanks man, works perfectly...
One *funny* thing tho,
I got a Mahi-Mahi HQ and it recorded it as a "Grade 2 Dark Matter".
Not a big deal tho, made me laugh a bit but i thought you might wanna fix this.

Its not his bot, that happens in memory.
He's probably using the memory address which records the tooltip name or "last item", so if you mouse over items (maybe even if you hover) and mouse out it resets to the item you moused over and sometimes (no idea why) resets to dark matter... maybe because you mouse over gear and the sub tooltip requires dark matter?
Anyhow if he starts using chatlog soon like he indicated then that won't be an issue because he can get the catch information from the chatlog.

^ Exactly.
Using the chatlog should also allow the caught fish list to work in all languages.

Hey guys, I've just uploaded an Alpha release of the latest version of the fish bot ( FFXIVFishingBotALPHAv1.2.1.0.rar)
The alpha release uses a reworked API that I have been working on for a while, it may not be stable so let me know if any issues occur.
Furthermore, the bot now reads the chat log in order to figure out what fish you caught, thus the fish name list now works for the English, French, German and Japanese clients!
That's all for now, I plan on adding some more chat parsing features, but for now enjoy and let me know if it ***** up!

Thank you for the bot and letting us use it for free. I have been using it for a few hours now and have only came across 3 errors so far on (FFXIVFishingBotALPHAv1.2.1.0.rar)
1) Still showing up as v1.2.0.0
2) I been letting it fish for about 20 mins, stopping it to move to another place and letting it run again. When doing this the 1st time I ran the bot after opening it Total Fish caught was working great until I caught a fish I have not caught before as it added it twice to the total. I think this is because it saw the fish name in the chat log twice. Once as caught and once as "fish name" was added to the fishing log.
3) Also while stopping it to move to another place and letting it run again the 1st time Fish caught log was working great until I stopped it and started in another place. The fish log was cleared and did not record any more fish and the total fish caught stayed at the total it was at when I 1st stopped it.
Not any big errors that I have seen yet but just wanted to let you know :-)
