Mine is much *much* cleaner, and I really don't think it is economical (from a computing resource perspective) to monitor it at that level anyhow, but I am paranoiiiiid.
I just got done going on a PROGRAMMING BENDER, kind of like nerd rage I suppose, because I cannot get CTRL key combinations to work without the extra WM_CHAR.
Although it didn't fix the problem, it is pretty cool...
- Custom Jigging with several options
- Stop after # hours
- Stop after # catches
- Catch/Lost stats
- "Stop" & "Stop Now"
- Pulls out fishing pole at start, if it isn't out
If you donated and you don't have it in your mailbox yet, keep checking it RIGHT NOW!
You already know how good it is.

I think i am going to stop making autoit bots. Lucid's programs are just way better.
More years of programming ^^

I really appreciate the compliment... I suppose you'd like access?
Edit: If you donated to this project and didn't receive an e-mail at the address associated with your paypal account please PM me on these forums or e-mail me and we'll get it squared. All e-mails have been sent.
*If you haven't already donated, donating will NOT get you access!*
I suppose it is worth noting that this program isn't as widely tested as MK, but it seems to work ok for me^^;

Good enough for me! It's running like a champ. Plowing out some fish on one account while I craft on another.

Nice to hear! Like I said in a previous post, it really hasn't been tested on many computers... so it is a relief to not have heard problems from a half dozen people or so!
The CTRL+Key macros are still an issue in need of addressing, but if everything else works as expected, who could complain?

Hrm, just ran out of bait and it stopped, did my macro to equip more bait and i couldn't get it going again even after restarting the bot program.
edit: do you want feedback on this thread or somewhere else?
edit2: i reproduced the problem & here is a better description of the behavior:
1- run out of bait.
2- bot casts again.
3- bot cancels fishing.
4- bot uses bait macro.
5- bot just sits there so I manually open menu -> fish
6- bot will fix depth then start waiting for jig.
7- once there is a nibble/bite bot does nothing.
8- eventually I would manually click jig.
9- fish lost because of waiting too long.
10- bot continues normal operation at this point.
If I were to guess about what is going on there is probably some state that isn't getting reset in the reequip bait process but then running through some fishing gets the bot back on track.

Got the email! sorry you ran into that issue and ended up running yourself into the ground for the night.
I'll start running it through the paces...
On a sadder note. I set up MK before I went drunk bowling last night and set it up again before I passed out. I was drunk mind you, but things were still set up right. When I woke up this morning, the bot was stuck at the "Requested items" screen =-( I bumped it to the confirm synthesis screen and it started chugging away again. The interesting part is I got through 34 synths before it decided to take a break. Ran about 45 minutes before it happened. Haven't gotten this issue before so I'm going to look into issues on my end. We also had a wicked power storm out here in the desert yesterday so that might have affected things.
Also Mastr Baitr confuses me.. where's the user manual?!
I think we should start another thread for the MastrBaitr feedback, but for now:
The program isnt launched by default with admin rights. I hit tons of error messages and a non working program. I messed around a bit and realized that it didnt have the admin rights shield on the icon. I launched it with the rights and its plowing beautifully. I really hate to go through and pick at the program right after you've already put so much time into it, ect. That's so weird... I mean seriously, its awesome! Only think I wanted to bring up which im sure youre already aware of is that the two programs (MK and MB) conflict with each other because there is no PID instance for MB/Dual box support. I got around it by launching one instance with MB and getting things going, then opening another for MK, but if you already have two open you're SOL. Again I don't want to harp about whats not right about the program because I've been looking soooooo forward to it! thanks and keep up the good work!

I didn't notice this because I'm sand boxing the programs while running them. This makes it so MB can only see the PID of the XIV in the same sand box.
I have two separate sand boxes right now running. One with 1 xiv + MC and one with xiv + MB (or MC depending on what i'm up to).
What I did so far today:
* opened both xiv's
* set up 1st account to do some synthesis w/ MC.
* opened up MB on 2nd account & fished a while.
* closed MB on 2nd and opened MC on 2nd to process the fish.
* ran out of fish to process so closed MC on 2nd and opened MB again to fish another round.
I'm sure Lucid will add multibox at some point but there are alternatives in the mean time if you want.

running mastrbaitr in a sandbox on second monitor
using default custom jigging, jig in order regardless, jig on nibble
program is working flawlessly. very fast, high catch rate
personal stats: fishing lvl 41 @ grade 3 node for test
wishlist:
- select process id feature
- save settings feature
- catch rate percentage
awesome program!

You might want to shut off "jig this order regardless", it will ignore the fish.
For example, if you jig middle(3), then middle/left(2) and the fish takes in line, and you have the default 3/2/1/4/5 settings, then it will jig leftmost(1) as the third jig.
This is so you can set it up to jig one position only, or behave however you want. If you want to catch every fish you come across, definitely do not use "jig in order regardless"
I'll start a new thread sometime, I didn't really think through where questions will be answered

Ah, thats genius! cause you can set up the jig that captures only one fish, and ignore all the rest. Ooh. i really like that.
EDIT: So i've had a bit of time to run MastrBaitr through the paces, and WOW. I haven't had any issues using it and the catch rate is outrageous. The logic it uses is great. I'm fishing for a specific fish and it filters out all the rest. If you know where your fishes sweet spot it isnt hard to do! And I mean where on the jigging the fish gets caught, not the depth sweet spot.
I want to thank you again for all your time and support. As soon as I start getting my military pay, you'll get some more 'support' from one of your biggest fans! Btw I am working on those videos, its just been hectic with the transition into my course ect.
Keep up the great work!

Interesting. I have turned off the customize jigging (which greys out the jig in order and jig on nibble boxes) and my catch rate has dropped. I have also watched the order of jigging that is occurring and it appears that it is the same 3/2/1/4/5 that was selected when custom jigging was enabled.
I did start this time with custom enbabled, then turned it off after reading your comments, don't know if the on >> off effected the behavior, will test again later from a fresh program start, but definitely getting a higher catch rate with the custom/jig on nibble enabled.

Will there be any other opportunity for late donors to try out MB? I donated a few days back but I was definitely late to the show.
If there is a new thread for MB please forgive me as I saw a post saying one might get created (I did not see it in between server gateway timeouts yesterday).
Cheers

There was a bug in the jig logic which might've made it unable to catch fish with certain jig settings, so grab the latest version for those tweaks.

The actual "enable custom jigging" only allows you to select those options in the group. If you open the program (and haven't checked it off and changed any suboptions), then checking the "enable custom jigging" box off won't change the behavior.
There was a bug with jigging but I'm not sure when it was introduced. Download 1.0.1.2 (same location) and try again.
Enabling "jig on nibble" probably won't hurt anything, but unless you want to just jig one spot or do something fairly advanced, you shouldn't check off "Jig this order regardless of fish" - see the for more info.

There will be! Keep an eye on the MB thread for more info (later today or tomorrow). I just made the thread before replying in here, so you were at the right spot
PS. I know what you mean about the gateway timeouts
