we've got 4 projects going. A total conversion of Co is one of them. Yeah its alot but its ok, we move slow and pace ourselves, stuff gets done by getting it done, and that's the only way to do it. But yes, three of our projects are original, we're licensed for unity pro, and they are all mmos. Check out our site if you like, we've got a small forum, not alot of traffic, easy to keep in touch.
here's a pic of the female after some adjustment. I made her legs thicker and gave em a bit of curve, and her arms. i changed the helm and her hair style, and i reversed the katana on her hip so its face up like it should be.

i wish i could say it could be done, but im far enough down the learning road in 3D to know the real truth. ALL models, with uvs, and weights and everything, can be lifted from memory. It is the nature of the beast. If i look at it like, we've learned from others, tq obviously, and in the end if we do the same and inspire ppl..well, that's kinda priceless. That said, we ain't gonna make it easy. LOL =p

Just curious, is it impossible to actually make the character "grip" their weapons? Always seems like they glued their weaps to their hands or something.

yeah its the lack of hand bones. If we edited the meshes to have closed hands then they'd always be closed etc. its one way or the other for now. The animations would also have to be altered, itd be quite a bit of work just for that, and im not sure if we could replace their rig to even begin the process. next few weeks will show us a bit more what it will allow but for now it doesn't seem 'easy'.
