weeeellll, mostly its been so long cuz we stopped. We made a multi player combat vehicle game, and we worked on this idea (Sengoku) in full 3D (which we're still planning to do), but in the meantime we're still playing CO...which means its hard to get away from the "omg they ****** this up we could do this...X" kinda thing. Fact is we love the game, just not the direction its gone in. We're not in this to make money, like many other psrvrs are doing/have done, we're taking it in a completely different direction and rewiring the game in almost everyway, but all within the confines of the C3 Engine. ATM there is just two of us, alot is done tho - content wise. Also many tools had to be developed for what we're trying to do, which has required help from many of the heavy weights in the CO code dept like Ultimation, and Sparkie, Mr.Green, Hyberkill and many others. As far as content goes, there are already designs made for 4 classes of armors, with 2 other classes started. I had many of the weapons done but had a thermal event on my drive and lost all of my models up to about 4 months ago, when i started again from scratch on modeling basically. we were into the car game and i didnt feel the impact of it until we just came back to this but, its all good, im a much better modeler now than i was then so. One major city map is about 95% done, give or take. 4 interior maps are done atm as well. a complete HUD is finished but....im bored with it now, and may redo that (lol). we've an entire crafting system which i guess you could compare to Oblivion. Complete skill sets which widen the scope of gameplay completely. We've also made significant changes about how spells work in game. These things are all done. I could prolly think hard and list more but XD.

In short, yes it is taking very, very, very long. =p

Active team members atm are Ultimation & myself. I should mention Sparkie too, tho he isnt full time with us. Still his part time help is prolly worth 3 ppl.

XD, im adding pics to the opening post, i just added 2 more interiors which shows all 4 that are finished now. I'll try to add more this weekend as i go thru some stuff, and ofc as i make new stuff.

Its the first city, and its very close to completion. About 95% or so. I'm working my *** off irl atm so i haven't done **** all for a few days, as soon as i get a breather i'll post a few pics from it, and some of the new garms etc. Server is currently rev 5500 XD

high respect for u work, i know how much time it takes,done some similar thing but i quit it cuz im alone coder and designer and i lost my way in the project, only thing i fear for u, is how u gone protect ur work from leech? and a thx from me cuz u exist

You can easily change the WDF hash algorithm... And there isn't a lot of people (or the people who know the algorithm don't have the interest to leech) who will be able to create a new WDF Extractor... Or you can go for a more drastic idea.

yep when we get close we'll address it, i know Ulti has a few ideas. We've also got sparkie's help and others when it will eventually come to this stuff. the main concern now is creating the massive amount of content that needs to be protected XD. Thanks for the idea tho capt sky, ill be sure that gets to Ulti. Pce all. More stuff coming soon!

And if you need help, just ask... My server uses an edited version of the WDF hash algorithm and I have the tools to handle them perfectly. Also, I have worked a lot on archive file format. I have my own that isn't really good and I have a new one that I develop when I have time. This time, the format is way more complex, but way more advanced for file storage... But I'm sure that with Ulti and Sparkie, you'll be okay

Well yes, ofc =p But try to keep in mind that a 'finish' line is the least possible amount of content it takes to play the game, from there we can continue to develop while ppl test, then play. The amount of content to be created is the same as re-creating the game (from the art dept perspective), since every element is either being modified, or created from scratch entirely. But it should be said we are not "Full time" on this, i dont think any 2 ppl could be and not burn out, which would lead to cutting corners and sloppy **** getting done just to 'finish'. not to mention real life stuff that diverts energy and attention. BUT, i will post some new things maybe today...sound fair enough Illy? pce all!
