I do a 3D game design module for my course at University and have a few friends doing design. Very capable using 3dsmax and similar programs. Would be happy to help if you send some of the workload my way with your 'co from the group up' project

For that just Photoshop and imagination, along with tons of research into ancient japanese armor styles and elements.

no-can-do, the client will be released as a complete work, when the server is ready. Sry.

I meant the files you worked from, as the ones I have aren't complete.

i honestly dont have time right now to go thru the client and get all the files from all the folders, but i can suggest you grab someone else's already public skin, and work with that. it would be the same thing as reskining co, but you'd be skinning a skin...=p
I dont have the time cuz atm we're developing the terrain and we wont be using a random generator, we're doing it all in 3dsmax and other tools. here's a small screenie to show what the quality of the world will be like on our new maps, which will replace every map in game.
so i'm up to my eyeballs learning this stuff, sry i cant help you atm.

it'll be 3D, but the camera will remain fixed like it is in Co. It'll appear way more realistic, which will fit the weaps and char designs much better. Our technique will allow us to use super high poly counts, but add no rendering overhead whatsoever, in fact, i still think our version will run smoother and faster when compared to CO's client.
here's another landscape, again not meant for co, just learning the tools.

here's a new sword from the anime series Samurai Champloo. Anyone familiar with the series will recognize it as Mugens sword. It'll be in the game. Below is a pic of the finished 3d model, all design creds go to the artists of the series, tho i did make the model myself.
