Discussion on Zatoichi's Edits (under Development) within the CO2 Weapon, Armor, Effects & Interface edits forum part of the CO2 Guides & Templates category.
Sure man. Here's the armor i am working on tonight. One of the samurai armors, i'm still working on the feet, and i've got some other details to add but its fresh of the griddle!
Thanks Hokage. It's the start.dat file in your data/main directory. To edit it you'll need to make a copy of it, rename the extension to 'swf' and then decompile the flash into its elements, many ppl use SOTHINK to do this. From there you can replace the images in use.
And yeah, we'll be starting out as a psrvr of sorts, but we'll grow and change. I don't think the team will 'break apart'. Ppl ofc need to take breaks for life, and i myself was offline for more than a few weeks while the US recession took a bit out of my wallet. We all like each other, and understand the demands life puts on everyone of almost any age. And it can cause burn out, to be on a long project. So we keep each others spirits up and take breaks when necessary. But we all wanna do the same thing, so we return as soon as we can.
Will they C&D us (Cease and Desist)? I'm sure they will want to....
Thank you very much! :-D
Its nice to see you sharing some info with this forum. Instead of keeping it as a secret..
Edit: Emme are you from Sweden? Er du fra sverige? Im from Norway
Graphic work is decent (not that I really like the designs, but I find it interesting that it's actually being done for the first time), I'm not fond of your teams ideas that much.
Matter of opinion.
Just to let you know I'm <--> this close to slapping you on your programming paragraph.
Here's a preview of one of the new classes we're adding. This shaolin monk is not a replacement of an existing class but a genuine addition of content. His gears all have their own unique ID's. There are also a number of new c3's in the video - his weapons (rings on his wrists), the weapons glow (custom .c3 effect made from scratch), and his hat (which in the video is only replacing a war helm, it has now been added as a whole new line of helms).
The video cycles thru the armors, all based on TQ meshes. It also shows the lotus position sitting for this class, and some of the early combat animations. The style this monk is using is the 'hand' style. There will be a 'foot' based style also. Monks will be able to learn either, or both.
I know that TQ has announced its own monk class, but ours was started about 6 months ago, maybe more, well ahead of any public announcement they made about this. thus they will not have the same skill sets and abilities.
