how can i export the texture?
i successfully modeled and exported obj and mtl, is it possible to convert mtl to dds or ddj, or what did you mean in the tutorial that make sure to export ddj?

For some reason the bow I edited doesn't show up ingame , it's like the character isn't holding anything but when I use skills it's not a problem ..
I used to develop in other games using blender so I'm not a newbie , but this thing drove me nuts  ! ..
And yes I used all the required import/export settings ..
Can you tell me which type of image I should use to texture and what to exactly do with it? I kinda got lost in the topic .

I successfully modeled the item, made the texture and applied it to the game. I can see the texture on the sword I created in the character select but after I click "start" the client crashes. Probably the size of my texture image causes it?

hey exported some head from a character using Blackrouge Pk2 Tools. But when i select the file (europeman_werewolf_face.bms ) and click convert, the OBJ file is not generated, but the log says it was successfuly generated and all. But i cant find the file.
What could be the error? im using windows XP.

If it works in character select it should work ingame, any chance something else is crashing your client?

Body parts should be converted to .srobj files. They should appear in the same directory as the original file.

Did you make sure you selected the bow when supporting? Did you make sure the origin is at the right spot with another bow? The images used for textures should be .ddj format. This can be made by converting .dds files (there's a nvidia plugin for photoshop) using the  . They can be found in the prim/mtrl folder in data.pk2

hey there perry, so i was wondering, i've reached this far
what i want to do is the following
I want to cut this part, and make it an object by itself without the other thing, is that possible?, been searching everywhere, couldn't really understand how :S

Just select one of the vertices of the lower object and press ctrl + '+' a couple of times (or go to select > more. You could also use select > linked I think. Once you have them just delete those vertices and you're set.

sorry to annoy you again, but i need your help...
i've extracted a bow from one of the monsters mesh, it's hun_archer bow, i opened it with blender and i opened the bow i am replacing it with, i alligned my new bow with the one i want to replace with, i exported the bow with the options u included, i converted it back to .obj, but in-game im getting nothing, the character looks like it has a bow, but there is just nothing there,
any help?

I converted the text to dds and than to ddj, the problem was i tried from png to ddj, thanks for all your help i can now add anyting to game

Try reconverting the .bms file and opening it in blender. make sure you are in edit mode when you align/rescale your model.

I converted it back, Now when i open the bowwith blender, i don't see the bow model, it's empty, but i can see it fine with photoshop.

Try saving the bow again, make sure you do everything right. If it still doesnt work send the file to me in a PM.

I found a tool for converting dds files in normal grafic files and back.
But i donīt know if this here is the right forum part
How to use it?
I.install the programm
II. open the programm
Converting dds to bmp
III. press "File" and then "open" and chose the dds file that you want to convert
