i dont believe that this duping is fully patched. i believe that there are still ways of duping but we just havent found them yet.

Look fella, i'm not having ago at you, but, heres my thing, if you have the method then why are you telling us? why come on to a topic and say you can do it? what does that achieve? how does that help anyone who has posted on this topic trying to find out how its done? what help has that little post been to us?

no one asked for a list of people to cliam that it is still possible...

and even if you do have the method and you dont want to share it then thats fine, i get it! if i had the method then i probably wouldnt share it with everyone on the forum either, in case it got patched or it became common knowledge. but what i wouldnt do is waste my own time posting comments on such topics cliaming that i could do it, becuase it doesnt achieve anything, it doesnt help anyone, so i cant understand why i see such comments... i could understand though if it were mere kids posting the comments, what do they know, they wont know better, but i'm guessing your not a kid....

i'm not trying to find a way of duping for my own self gain, i'm someone who likes to works out all the angles, look for flaws or defects, thats what i'm doing... looking for a crack in the system, and your comments dont help. so work with us.

I'm racking my brains trying to work this out....trying some elaborate trading, killing and zoning methods to no avail.

The question that keeps bothering me is....is the 10sec delay / insta close of the trade window client sided? Surely if I disconnect from the server my client simply stops sending messages to the server...thus how does it know to close the trade window.

If it is client sided, we just need some clever clogs to locate the new piece of code responsible for this monstrosity and nuke it. Unfortunately it's a bit beyond me, but would appreciate others thoughts of corrections of my mistaken assumptions.

/agreed. Lets get our heads together and get this working.

I myself have tried some fancy trading with no success. Disconnecting the router, Alt+F4, Battles, trading.. almost everything.. but unfortunately I was getting the same outcome.. instant shop close.

Thing is, this CAN be done on private servers, as the shop remains open for about 10.7 seconds after the ALT+F4 quit. I have done it several times with the desired outcome. But when you switch over to US, the shop closes instantly (note that I am using the same files for both US and the Pserver, just changing the game.exe with the specific IP's).

I'm not sure if this would help at all, but possibly try using a PATCHED version of your client (patch it with lilpro's patcher) from a private server, load it up in hex and change the IP back to US's server. Save it and put it back into the folder and start it up. Patching it will keep it from checking the client version and kill off GG

I have yet to do this due to some lack of time, but it will help discover if the instant market close is client sided, or server sided.

Does anyone have the game.exe file from before the long maint? (30 h or so, when they claimed they had gotten rid of duping once and for all.)

It can still be either client or server sided, think about it.. really..

well if they fixed this, how about this one.. just a theory

if my friend put his item ( which we want to dupe ) on Request Battle screen menu and my friend hit alt+f4 when battle starts. and i kill him and take drop(i have to kill my friend before he completely unseen in game). maybe my friend dont lost his item. because idea will be the same with polypropylen method.
