Hi Everyone,

I found too many posts but ı could not. How can ı change npc Name??

Example:

I selected a npc and gave new text id and name id
I created new rows in StringResource ( With new text id and name id)
I used RDB tool and created Resource to client from StrindResource and Npcresource.
BUT ıt doesnt work. What is my mistake?

Please help and sorry for bad English.

What server version and sframe are you working with?

Well since that nails down the fact that resourcing in the resource folder works then I can only add to make sure you are hashing the file name correctly.

If you launch ascii then the file name should be hashed db_string(ascii).rdb

If you launch code page then hash it db_string.rdb

Same for your other RDBs

You second question may be a port issue or an sframe issue. Not really sure. I have seen it before but I forget what I did.

STool.exe is used when creating .cob files
