[Smurfin]

This is just a tool for experimenting with refining equipments in Perfect World Online game, success rate is calculated based on percentage as posted in PWI's PWpedia, the refining section. Result might vary from the real system in the game.

you can spend billions of gold with this many times and get the feel on the refining success rate before trying it for real

turns out sometimes it's quite hard even for early levels, thought the publisher might tamper the refining rates but now I believe they don't ^^)
since we always aim for a higher level refine, reset back to zero might happen often

I'm hoping to get tips from any expert blacksmith here by posting this app lol, I usually use hvn from +2 to +3 , and above +3 use underworld.

I managed to get +9 once using mostly heaven stones though, spending 500m gold and still having a lot of immo and other stones, should cost around $150 on the server where I'm playing, but the stake is too high to try it on the real thing and when I tried to +10 it lost the first digit and left the zero behind

on PWI forums might help you with finding optimal ways to refine

thanks Interest07, really need tips n trick on how to refine effectively and efficiently at both cost and result , no dragon orbs of cuz, that's abusing money lol

Dragon Orbs might be the cheapest to use at real high refines (+8-+12 or something). But in the lower levels definitely not

yea or we can buy a desired refine level from other player and use universal stones to transfer.

It costs around $210-$235 on the server I'm playing on for a +9, $150-170 for the +9 and another $65 for 250 universal stones.

+8 is around $60-$75 and +7 is $27-$36, exclude cost for transferring.

I wonder how much refine levels worth in other servers

But PW has a diferents rates depending on day,time,npc, owner cla territory etc

yea, but a +10 for $50 is a steal, it costs like $300-400 here maybe more by now, and still need to buy transfer stones , although we have to make our way to +9 before using that stone or just use it from plus eight or seven, it'll sell itself well at that price.

about things that can affect result, are they true or just myths like most things which are put on PWi wiki's myths 'n misinformation section ?

can the information of how refining works be found by dissecting elementclient.exe like what ppl usually do to find ingame functions ? it'lll help us know our chances and what to expect than just click and click hoping the refine will go up but in the end it mostly doesn't and even reset back to zero

According to testing done by members of that thread all the things that can affect result are myths, like the rumour about holding a certain territory for +1 was tested thoroughly and proven wrong. Since odds are server side in the end you can't pull them from client (even if they're there there's no way of knowing what the actual server odds are)

ah I see, and I think so too, then we only have what PWI has informed for the success rate in refining equipments. Thought the information could be pulled from the client, but pls do share if anyone managed to get that
