Did you import a persona, the driver file then car file?
I am assuming so and then the game did not load.
That is what happened to me.

Find those two files, right click one then and the bottom it says "properties"
Left click that and it will open a window.
If windows has blocked it, it will say it is blocked.
example

You click, unblock, click apply then close and do the same with the car file, then reload them into the server.

That was my issue, and if not yours, I am sorry but sometimes, windows blocks flies you DL and you must unblock them, for them to work as in my case.

Thanks, I assume it from the beginning, but thought we might be able to save the Persona like was done when the servers were still up.
Plus, using a saved Persona and importing it creates a "cars.bak" file in the folder you imported it from, confused me and I thought I now had to save that as well, obviously not.

its in the readme go into safehouse and come back out a couple of times they should work then.

after all this time without it working on windows 7 i finally got it to work, i had imported a persona that had been blocked.

oh, i do have one question, i read somewhere that there is a way to finish pursuits but i cant find it now, anyone know how?

I'm having issues opening nfsw.exe. Everytime I try to open it it will load and do absolutely nothing. I've been at this for the entire day and keep failing. I have no idea why this is happening but it's extremely frustrating.

What do you mean by nothing? Does the game crash, do you get a server error, does it say nfsw.exe has stopped working, or does it simply do nothing?

it is in EVENT folder not EVENTS theres 2 .xml and in those two, hou have to change your persona ID (bucnh of numbers) with <PersonaId>RELAYPERSONA</PersonaId>

It will probably be fixed in the next release but Berkay forgot to edit two files, simple fix.

In the Server Folder.
Goto /www/nfsw/Engine.svc/event and open the 2 xml files.
Not the "events" folder, the "event" one.
Open each of the two files in notepad....(right click, open with notepad)
Find and replace <PersonaId>22418201</PersonaId with <PersonaId>RELAYPERSONA</PersonaId> and save the files.

Pursuit will work right then.
you basically just change the 22418201 part to RELAYPERSONA

By nothing I mean it'll show the loading symbol and even after waiting 20 minutes the game will not open. No error message will show either.

EDIT: I don't know if this is related because it seems that berkey said this to other users experiencing a similar issue but I don't have Java 8u45 installed instead I have 8u51. Is this going to affect the loading?

It might, i have 51 and 45 installed (as well as a few others)

I am running 64bit win7 and have the latest java installed and the game opens and runs every single time, have had zero issues with it.
I also have a ton of earlier java builds installed that I was prompted to uninstall with the last update to java, but I left them in.

Perhaps that may be why some have problems and some do not using the latest java update?
No, I really have no idea just speculating that may be something to look into.
