By not using the skill you mean not shooting correct? Because people in Martyr load any ranged skill and they can aim at you through the wall.

oh and this one also possible a small edit maybe. something that makes the range of a monster visible. Like circles that determine the distance at which monster aggro from. Oh yea and something similar to that for shadow missions like a giant circle that tells you were the walls will come up when you hit the orbs so u can avoid it if your trying to heal o.o
.... and maybe one for characters too but that's not really needed because of the ctrl button

you can edit it to lock on and to target, but range and magic through walls has been patched... mostly.

I remember hearing about chain cylinder, a skill that just came out in KR, if possible could we make that work here?

chain cylinder couldn't work... most skills go 3 places... dll, xml, server. if not on all 3. not possible

I also remember somewhere, people could change an item in the itemdb for weaving and refining and it failed the skill. Would it be possible to mod things so that maybe it would work for synthesis? I doubt it but maybe.

What about removing the check to see if elves can mount upon giants?
Might be server sided, anyone care to check?
If not, I'll do it myself. I just don't like trying a mod unless I'm 100% sure I'm changing the right part, but this mod should be easy if it's not server-sided so..
