DOES unlimited range still working?

I edited the xml but sitll couldn't use unlimited range fireball
does it still working?
could anybody teach me how to edit unlimited range icespear or thunder
or just send me the file

cant edit range on icespear/thunder only reason it worked for fireball is because it did that aoe effect and didnt target
