Myeh, I started writing mine in js/ajax, but then I needed teh hardc0r3 speedz, so I just went ahead and wrote mine in HxD. Screw assembly, it's so much easier just memorizing opcodes and managing the entire program in a hex-editor!
But seriously, I completely agree with FAGGOT on the usage of a non JIT programming language like C or C++. C# offers some neat little things here-and-there, but... myeh.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid... Since when is C# specifically for programming NPCs to do "things"? It's quite obvious that sherokie knows nothing at all about programming, and is merely generalizing the purpose of C# from what he saw in the Aura thread. Honestly, you could program NPCs in any half-decent programming language, but you're not even ready for that yet.

There is nothing else to creating a private-server! It is entirely coding, with the exception of data-collection and organization. If someone else was to do the coding, you wouldn't really be doing anything at all, other than stealing their credit. Could you please tell me what you would be doing if someone had offered their assistance?
