Seriously where's the Mabinogi private server?

It's been like 5 years now since mabinogi came out and where's the private server??? I mean this is the website full of awesome coders and hackers yet noone has tried to make a private server? or well people have tried and given up. Why doesn't everyone team up and try to make one? This game deserves to have a private server. And to all the people that complain about the idea of a private server, my reason behind wanting a private server is higher exp rates if we had those then we could test out different skill setups so we can know what to go for first on the main server. I mean everyone who loves this game should think this is a great idea. Come on guys lets team up and do this! ^_^

There was a private server in development, but the main developer went to college.

It's a shot in the dark to make a private server anyways.

Programming the server (in comparison) is the easy part.

Finding the encryption tables/getting around it is the hard part. Anyone that could do that would most likely have no problem doing the server.

Bypass is uneeded for this.

The thing that's keeping most people away from really trying hard on this (including me) is the legality. No one wants to end up like OdinMS did.

EDIT: Oh, and I spoke with a South Korean who did amazing work on a pserver. He stopped working on it though, sadly

See that's what i'm talking about most people that started one just quit working on it...and didn't OdinMS mostly get f'ed over cause they were making real money off their server? I dun see how if you changed a few things around and didn't charge money for anything you could get sued for it. Plus keep it on the hush hush rather than in the wide open like OdinMS did you should be fine. And of course i'd be willing to help with the programming i'm quite good in that arts of C++ I also know some Java not an expert at it but I know my fair share. Sadly I dun understand packet grabbing either X_X I know someone on elite has to know how to packet grab...We just gotta get them to join the idea.

From the Nexon Terms of Service:

You also agree that if you use such a program to play any of the Nexon games, or engage in the use of a private server, you will have the unconditional obligation to pay Nexon America Inc. the sum of One Thousand ($1,000) Dollars as liquidated damages for each time you use such a program, which shall be due and payable immediately upon notification to you of said infraction.

Well i'm wondering how the other people got their packets and server going it just sucks that I was checking all of this too late to help with wabinogi cause they needed C++ coders and i'm quite good at C++...I just wish since they gave up on it they could've at least given the files and everything to someone else so they could continue to work on it...anyone know a way to get ahold of them?

Yeah but Nexon is too lazy to go after the small time stuff and people. They have only gone after like 1 person lol.

I was recently involved in a lawsuit with Nexon and had to pay a large sum of money, dozens of people have been sued by Nexon, not just one person. However; I shall not quit hacking as long as Mabinogi exists. Also; hey guys let's make a Mabinogi private server with 4000 x Exp and make the game even more boring by destroying PvP (since nobody would play on the private server).

I don't know about paying $1000 but I'd like some help in decoding the mabinogi packets in relation to whisper and party messages. I probably would have them decoded by now if I spent more time on it

Well see it's like i'm good at C++ and the only team of people that have gotten then farthest which is the Wabinogi Emulator quit and gave up on it cause they could find any C++ coders wich sucks because if I had seen about it when they were looking for people I definately would have joined...Now it's like impossible to get ahold of them. They got the farthest though they actually had a server going just had alot of bugs it needed fixed.
