How many are you running? Most of time afk is caused by slow internet or machine.

Internet connection i think on 6vm's 2MB/s is good if you need mroe ofc automatic connection must be high. If your bot have "lag" or system rito say "afk" then your vm's have too low ram/each give vm's + 128Mb and check what he is doing.

Just six and I have 8 gb ram allocating anywhere between 512-1024 MB ram per VM. It's odd now. I start the bots and occasionally 1 will crash but now more often all of the bots crash. I'm considering restarting the process and wiping the VMs but I'm not too sure if this would help.

i7 2.2 GHz Sony Vaio running Windows 8
8 gb ram

I have another laptop is i5 8gb hdd and is able to run 6 vm without any problem...just the game loading time is longer.

Do you have other stuffs running in the background and take lots of resource?

Use firefox fix
1) Start up your VM
2) Open up Firefox
3) In Firefox, go to this page
about:config
4) Click the button saying that you will be careful... Lol.
5) In the search bar on top, search for toolkit.startup.max_resumed_crashes
6) You will only get 1 search result, double click it
7) By default the value should be 3. Change it to -1
8) Press OK
9) Close Firefox

No more bug on firefox
