well am not with or against Fang , So making him a Mod is not that big issue , if he continued the good work and acted as a Mod then that's good for the forum , if not then we can easily request him to be removed from moderation, so basically give the guy a chance!

So secondary note for admins reading some of the negative replies in this thread...

a large majority of the people against fang becoming a mod are also responsible for a large portion of the trolling/offtopic spam/flaming that I clean up on a daily basis..... so yahhhh.

Anyway, on topic. I'm for Fang as a moderator. He can do a good job for sure. Also, he is part of rare people who know what they are talking about... And if he doesn't know something, he knows who to ask. He helps other members. He respects the rules. (Mostly? I actually don't know any rules... It's only common sense...) So, why not? I'm sure that it will be good for the CO2 sections if Fang become a mod and help pro4never.

The real question is not whether or not the applicant would make a good moderator, but who would make the best moderator out of the applicants. There are some people on the forum who are "qualified" and would make just fine moderators (albeit not many), but there's really only one spot open for it at the present.

And? Even if so how does that not make there opinions invalid? We've all came with valid reasons why he should not be an moderator. I haven't seen one single invalid reason in this entire thread...Although I will agree things have been taken a little bit out of hand.

Every time we have mentioned something all you guys have replied with is "give him a chance". How many ******* chances have we given this guy? Hes long out of them in my book. And even if he deserves a second chance he should not be able to get an moderation position after 2 months of good deeds. How long was it that he was giving us all bullshit? Over a year? Put in a year of good deeds & I'll say yes. Until then this app should be thrown out the window.

I don't think hes a bad guy I've personally talked to him... He seems decent. But, 2 months does not make up for over an year of ****.

Honestly, you're the ONLY person who has said no that has a valid argument. The "Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" thing, was absolute genius. Even though we don't see eye to eye on this application, kudos to you man, for having probably the best argument here. It's off-topic what I said, but I felt it had to be said.

A person's base personality does not change. Although most members here have valid concerns, I feel that they are approaching things from the wrong angle. Yes, in the past, I was a problem; however, most of the time I was a positive and helpful member of the community (though slightly unstable). The changes in my personality that most of you are noticing are not voluntary. I'm not pulling a "an act" for a moderator position; in fact, Jack only quit less than a week ago- logically, me pulling an act makes no sense. I understand your concerns, but you will soon notice that these changes are permanent.

I've addressed most arguments using general responses so far, however, I'd like to address Decker's posts in specific. Decker, you know I don't hold grudges because I've given you more chances to change than epvp has. You know how impartial I am because although I had to change my msn so you would stop spamming me with profanity, I unbanned you from 4botters to give you another clean start. My moderating responsibilities have never been confused with my responsibilities as a friend. I have no enemies. I hold no grudges. I'm impartial and reliable. I threat members with care and respect. Alright lets get something straight. 'You', have given me more chances? I'm sorry, I never tried to change for 'you' in the first place.

I never once spammed you on msn with profanity, and if that is so, I would like to see some message logs. I am the one that blocked you a couple months back.

As I have said a dozen times - I do not care if I am banned or not from 4botters. I do not care if 'you' banned me on 4botters. You said you unbanned me because you wanted to give me a clean start? It is not like I am trying to impress you. I wouldn't change my ways just so you won't ban me.

If you four have any further concerns that I have not addressed, please state your mind; otherwise, remove yourselves from this application or remain quiet and respectful. All new posts that are irrelevant to the application will be reported (since such clear actions to spam a thread are against the rules).
