What happened to Apex?

We're re-structuring our branding to allow for future servers. Due to incredibly high demand for a EU host (but having promised we will not move Apex away from its NA home) we are going ahead with launching a EU server which will be linked through the interserver network and still able to compete with players on Apex.

Where is the server hosted?

Apex is hosted in Atlanta (NA)
Triumph is hosted in Germany (EU)

Both servers have same rates, events, updates, etc and are running patch 5017.


What are the rates?

Our servers are medium rate servers. You will have to work on your items and your characters but can be confident that your items will stand the test of time.

If you're not into leveling and just wanna smash players in pvp matches, we have many hit based events that run multiple times per hour so if you want to just join for dueling or pvp events there will be no need for you to level or hunt to participate.


Why should I play?

Our community is growing very quickly and we've demonstrated over the past few months that our server is and will remain one of the best classic experiences currently out there. We are fully dedicated to creating the best conquer online content out there and we want you to be a part of it!

We have a proven track record with our server stability, player support and ongoing balance/content patches. In general you can expect at least 1 patch per week to make sure the game remains balanced, bug free and fresh for your enjoyment.

Let me ask you something. Was is the difference between TrueConquer and ThriumphCo?
I'm confused which one should I consider playing over another.

TrueConquer is run by the former staff of Serenity. They approached me to write them an updated server. They run patch 5212 (but with original professions only) and are a less authentic classic experience (that's not a bad thing, it's what many ppl want) and has higher rates/more modern features.

TriumphCo is a more authentic classic experience with lower more balanced rates in terms of character progression and is run directly by myself (and hybrid who's working on me with the new source/interserver stuff). Because we're running it directly it often ends up with features, bug fixes and new content before other servers do.

Triumph and Apex are exactly the same in terms of features, rates and patch and they both run patch 5017. Only thing that changes is it's a fresh start and it's hosted in Germany.

I've held off on it because I don't want to split our player base (an issue with many pservers in the past) but the demand for EU is just so much greater than NA. I already promised people I wouldn't move our hosting to EU and so this is the result. We'll use the interservers and split advertising to do all we can to avoid creating NA server population issues but this is just something that kinda had to happen.

Rates are great. Not too high and not too low. It's good enough to keep you playing and feeling like you're EARNING the levels, not given. The interserver thing seems pretty badass. Also, its a server where you're never bored. There are multiple events through out the day. Very fun events. Drops are decent, pretty close to retail, except for the **** Emeralds. But people come on and play, it's fun as hell.

Corrected some issues with walking next to gw gates
Test fix applied for invisible players.
Lady luck will now let you REMOVE + from your gear
Slightly increased meteor droprate
Lowered -3 droprate
Lowered Exp from pvp events
Fixed issue with KOTH where winner was getting double rewards
Fixed numerous small bugs

-Added 'Guide' npc to tc which will link off to various videos/articles covering server rates/events/quests
-FB/SS now blocks potions for 2 seconds (rewards chain hits)
-Black name players may now pay 1 cp per pkp to exit jail (still remain black)
-Disabled fly/potions/pray in pvp events
-Reduced 'junk' drops (refined/unique items)
-Fixed some issues with the /clearjunk vip command
-Fixed some issues with Reflect causing you to go bluename/gain pkp (whoops!)
-Lowered DB droprate
-Fixed issues with kicking players from your guilds - they will now show as guildless without requiring a relog

Met rates are pretty much un-touched... we did nerf DB rates though so I'll accept your punishment

Considering there's ppl with literally 200+ dbs in their warehouse... yah it was a bit too high lol. Gotta balance that **** out

May 15th Patch

-Re enabled EXP leaching
-Cloud saint jars can no longer be sold in shops
-Gourds can now be traded
-Added VIP rewards for those who cannot vote (limit once per 48h)
-KO counts under 50 do not get added to KO board (reduced spam)
-Increased spawns in 2nd reborn quest/li>
-Reduced respawn time on 2nd reborn quest generals
-Reduced respawn time on DBDevil (3h)
-Fixed display issue with level 20+ proficiency
-Removed EXP ball per day limit
-Viper fang stamina cost lowered
-Improved FB/SS/Viper Fang responsiveness
-Standardized monster view range (will notice you from further)
-Reborning level 5-10 weapons should no longer make them level 15
