talking about luck/chance.
I believe (but could be wrong), that either when u create ur char or log ur char u get some kind of luck factor allocated. Why do I think this?
I have a high lvl reborn trojan, when i take him to mz the drop of single mets is very high (at least 1/100 kills). If I log my reborn archer, slightly lower lvl and kill i get a poor single drop rate (below 1/300 kills)
The trojan, which i lvl completly (no-plvl) never got a DB
The archer finds regulary DB's
The trojan never made any soc
The archer made several soc and 2 soc
So this is why I believe in some kind of luck factor given to ur char. Now if this is true, the following questions remain for me;
When is it given? When u create or login?
Can it be traced, so u know what kind of luck your char has?
any toughts?

guys i think its better chance to get a sok without luck . luck suks . i have spent 400 mets on lucky time and boooom no sok , and the day after that i have spent 20 mets in some nekys and BOOOM sok
so.... . I use luck only when i upgrade my equip in lvl . or repaire

2 days ago i upgrade an elite +1 lvl 110 ring in market
cost 9 DB i got a soc - pure luck.
i then went hunting in new forest and got rainbow gem and 2 elite 1 soc weapons in 5 minutes - pure luck.
if ther was a formula we would all be logging in at the right time to get soc at upgrade and super items and DB

honestly, just because no one has found a formula for it does not mean it doesnt exsist. people are always searching for one because it is a possibility.
EDIT: oh, i would like to point out that peoples ideas for making socs are generally too simple, and i believe that that is where most of the ill-feelings towards it all come from. tq is not about to put sumthing as simple as standing on certain coords as a variable to give you socs, no one is that slow.

I don't think you understand how luck works..... basically put it this way.....
Picture the chances of a drop occuring are 1 in 100.
now say each monster had a randomized dial rotating ranmdomly like in a poker machine
that 1 is gonna be rotating in and out randomly but when you hit it it stops
basically having luck it what number that stops on
for some ppl it may stop on that "1" 1 out of 1000 times but a lucky character would possibly have a better chance of that "1" stopping more often
it is as simple as that.......
if you want better drops my best advice is to get a higher lvl and hunt higher lvl things.....the higher the things you hunt the better the chances you are gonna get a drop......
this is only my opinion and nothing else

nothing computer generated is completely random. if you used the formula that tq uses for drops and ran it say 6 times and got the number -19(with absolute value its 19), 48, 12, 95, 73, and 108 using abs(rand(100)*2-rand(120)*2) for instance, there is always another formula that will end up with the same exact results. No, CO Isn't based purel on luck, but the chances of someone finding a formula to recreate the exact number of mets needed for a sock or the exact number of kills for a db to drop is slim to null so it's as close to luck as it's going to get. Also, about the different characters having different types of luck, some people claim that it's linked to the account and not only the characrer. But in all reality...It's just speculation, right?

what simply boggles my mind is that how people think n e thing is random or luck
in example 4 days in a row i got phenominal drops from sand elfs all in the same spawn all from the same exact coords and all at the same exact time
so tell me thats luck or random chance its a simple method of figuring out what spawn is hot for that hour
