Hmmm, well... I don't know how to answer without taking the risk of sounding offensive. The thread has inspired interesting conversation, nonetheless the original post reads like the ramblings of a crack addict on a ghetto street corner.
I've tried reading between the lines, interpreting what you're trying to say, and making an effort to decipher all that jibberish so I think I have at least some small grasp of your concept, and I agree with you based on what I think you're trying to say.
I think all manner of positive gain in Conquer is based on luck, not chance. If someone gets a lucky socket in an item, is it because they were lucky? Or is it because they let some monsters beat their dura down to 1, then they repaired, then they stood at a certain coordinate in TC and recited the Gettysburg Address outloud while wearing a Camo hat, scratching their armpit and tracing a figure eight in the air with their right foot... Yes, it's luck. Yes, it's random. So as you can see, I agree with your concept, at least according to my perception of it.
My only grievance in requesting an unpin is that:
A) There are too many pins in this section already, the active threads at the bottom of Page 1 for this forum section, barely number above three due to the vast amount of pins.
B) Your approach with expressing your point of view, due to the randomness and inability to clearly state what you're trying to say, is virtually incomprehensible to the average forum visitor and therefore a poor choice for pinning.
I don't begrudge anyone the opportunity to post, be heard, and initiate conversation. I just don't feel your thread was worthy of pinning, that is all.

totally getting +k for this... I __HOPE__ that this would lessen the spam about chances/odds/luck all around here... and would just wanna add that in my opinion the 2nd rb skill _MIGHT_ do something like double the value (1/150 in this case to get a met... to 2/150...in turn getting 2x the drops.. now I dont have a 2nd rb char but you get my point!), not sure about the exact amount it gives you more chances of a drop but still... it just makes you have better chances of drops...or maybe met upgrades/socs...who knows

u get a db package ur luck goes up to sae 6/99,999 instead of 1/99,999
u please a gm ur up to 10/99,999
ur alone get aditional temporari 5 luck points so ur at 11/99,999
u mine pk (in current argument mabe not afects or even bad) people mine less purcase more dbs, so u mine pk u luck goes up 1 points after 1000 kills mabi..12/99,999
u get 500 kill in less 30 minuts 15 templuck points 27/99,999
u log out adn bag in lost 20 temp points down to 7/99,999
k but ea sm u get random start so in dis case u lets sae for example after sm u get random of 1 to 100 50 luck points den plus on all listed above, dis is how i am verry sure common luck works, soc luck is a nother story............
and as for +1 arc cap plus elite neckie wit dura 14/20 or wutever u said, wtf lol, i guess its plausable dont sound rigt i duno mabe jsut me. lol
EDIT: andif u dotn knwo wut i mean wit luck points, imagin a big wheel spining round over yonder, like wheel of fortune, iwt 10k slots, 1 says definate nice item, 27(for exp in stori above) say some tipe of not **** item, and all rest say piece of ****, i dont know how to make it more clear or i would sorys. hope this helps u people that kill one monster a hour, talk smack to all, and ks all to hell c wtf ur not geing an thing for lol. lots more factors that effect every one equaly can give u more or less luck points depending on your actions i am sure.

euhmz i know vb and the random function in vb can be CALCULATED. i even think every random function in any programming language can be calculated. it's just hard but you can...

Simple examples:

1.

You will win if you get a Heart.
when u random pick, u will have 1/2 chance to pick heart, and 1/2 chance to pick diamon.

Back to CO example.
Ppl spamming mets to make socket. Some spamed 300-500 mets to get 1 socket
but some only spent 1 mets to get socket.
The chance to get socket (for example) is 1/1000
you can spam 999 mets and have nothing
but 1 noob can spend 1 mets to get that socket.
Ppl call u bad luck; and call that noob: wow, lucky f**king bastard.
PS: even the chance is 1/1000; there is no certern that you will get soc if u spam over 1000mets
Simple example 2: you have chance = 1/4 to get ace of H. It doesnt mean every 4 time, u will have 1 time right.
U can try 20 times without getting ace of H, or can get 3 ace of H in 3 time trying. (that's why ppl call it luck)
However, If u try many time( 100- 1000 times), the outcome will be approximately 25%

and i also find this explanation to be very nice and easy to understand 2 thoug it is more a theory about how the game works at least so i believe.
my point is that things can be explained for anyone to understand (as far ur not a retard in clinical sence)

well ur right in a sense like say if they werent super pro C++ programmers then they could have made the whole luck/Chance thing like tat for the random like for say im in metzone why is it i always find a met every 200 kills and why when i plvl at alienserpants for 8 hours every time i get a db drop i mean seriously everytime i plvl there for 8 hours a db will drop not sure on this but maybe its in the spawn for the example u put up it would be counted as a C progrrming

I'm working on a RealmCrafter game and the item upgrade system is basicly a ripp off of Conquers DB system! :P I have scripted(programmed) the "WeaponArtisan" npc which u can use to upgrade ur items with "BloodStones"<<<will be different soon :P (basicly Meteors). Here is the code which determines whether u get a BloodStone or not.

talking about luck/chance.
I believe (but could be wrong), that either when u create ur char or log ur char u get some kind of luck factor allocated. Why do I think this?
I have a high lvl reborn trojan, when i take him to mz the drop of single mets is very high (at least 1/100 kills). If I log my reborn archer, slightly lower lvl and kill i get a poor single drop rate (below 1/300 kills). If I plvl in adventure zone, I also have a very low met drop rate.
