Should be interesting to see what they come up with upon switching hackshield with gameguard.

Lookup what I did with shaiya and see, it won't matter. <3 playing with nprotect/INCA

GameGuard hides the game application process, monitors the entire memory range, terminates applications defined by the game vendor and INCA Internet to be cheats, blocks certain calls to Direct X functions and Windows APIs, keylogs your keyboard input, and auto-updates itself to change as new possible threats surface.

Since the game's process cannot be stopped from the task manager, if the protected game has an infinite loop or hangs in any way, it is effectively impossible to close without logging out or restarting the computer. This is even more frustrating since GameGuard checks if it is already running on the game's launch and does not permit the player to start a new instance in such cases. If set, GameGuard blocks any installation or activation of hardware and peripherals (e.g., a mouse) while the program is running. Since GameGuard monitors any changes in the computer's memory, it will cause performance issues when the protected game loads multiple or large resources all at once.

Most non-enjoyable rookit for the normal users/players from what is does functionally, but a good fun taking apart it to avoid all of the shit above.

If you know anything about cryengine, you will know what I mean on how bad this is going to be and why I will actually invest time in stripping it off.

There was a Glyph update. Does that change anything? detectable at all or still safe? btw, here's a snapshot of a black pearl on someones farm. they got lucky. :O

I meant the chest you can randomly find outside on the bottom of the sea floor south of Freedich. I'm fine with the keys. I get almost a key drop every time I kill a mob. It's more that I can't find those dang chests lol.

Yes but there are chests behind the bosses inside those rooms down there that have higher drop when using the keys on them but require the boss killed prior.

I am having trouble getting the library doors working. I moved all the scripts to "Mods\game\objects\env\05_libray". I couldn't see it in the readme so I placed them next to the pack finder scripts.

Don't worry about it. Make sure you focus on getting better. How excited are you that the patch tomorrow is going to take out Hackshield? They're going to have NO form of anti-cheat system. It's going to be pretty nice.

Do you guys bother opening the Enoan Shipwright's design bag?

So far I've just been deleting them since it doesn't seem worth the labor, but curious if they are any good at all to keep?

Also I've opened around 400 chests now and only once gotten statue :/

yes they are worth opening in my opinion you can get pretty good designs from them

These days I delete them as well. The best you can get is propellant design or charred bonekraal which, on my server, are worth between 1-5g these days.
The propellant used to be 30g and the bonekraal about 15.

Yeah but I was under the impression that they are changing to gameguard? And if they are it will depend whether gameguard was updated in the past 11 years since it was used for ragnarok online. It was so easy to just patch it out of the client's in ragnarok. I wouldn't see why gameguard would be any different now. But if they use it windows 10 users get ****** because it doesnt support windows 10. But I still have unpackers and stuff to decrypt it.

The patch notes say they MIGHT change to gameguard down the road. But until that happens, or they find another much better anticheat software, the game won't have any protection. It's on the official forums.
