Please express your opinions on the rates for phase 1.


P.S. So far exp/skill/drop rates seem to be 5/10/5. If you have other opinions post those too. We'll ultimately discuss our own ones and reach a verdict.

So it looks like you guys going with x8 acclaim rate. x4 GC rate.

Why do you think people are going to play on a private server with rates like these?

I would rather play official.

Or if you guys are as good as your claiming, how about finally fixing the horrid XP curve and become 9d legends?

Actually... we can do that...
But it would be too much effort put into nothing, when we can just aswell set up the rates and allocate the time to more important issues.

P.S. If officials are so clean/awesome, how come you are here ? xD

I have no intention to mock anybody, but we simply don't want wipes. That's why we are going with lower exp. Also, we'll setup the PQs exp to higher so that people don't die before reaching cap. xD

Going with 600x rates and then wiping for the 3rd time is not a good approuch.
We'll have gifts that will help you level up and we'll also have weekend events. To me 8x seems resonable.

One question though, would you choose a server which is either very updated but filled with abused items or a server with corrupted staff and insane rates to compensate for the lack of content over a server which has low-medium rates, but is stable, not corrupted and completely clean?

P.S.2. According to our exp related thread, people mostly voted for 5/10/5 so far, let's say we'll decide upon 8x exp, that'd be better than our community itself voted. Due to the reasons above, I'm inclined to stick with those rates. We'll have higher rates going into the 2nd and 3rd phase.

We actually can fix things like that in another way. That was discussed long time ago, so I should bring that again. That's for make me remember that important thing!

Good idea, indeed.

Maybe when we get the server on a solid land, i will start looking into XP curve based on your suggestiona.

For example the XP curve required from lvl 0 - lvl 120 should be nerfed by 25 % - 30 % .

Well to some people (Like me) Somebody finally fixing the xp curve would be ground breaking.

If you guys fixed the XP curve it would impress me a lot more than releasing some hidden features from the old code.

It would set your server apart from all the others that realize the curve is a problem but just up the rates to 40x or something to compensate.

Some levels like DB-IM the exp is ****** up some levels are harder than the other.

That's false information. We are not releasing anything from old source ahhaha. Also it's nothing hidden, it's custom/new. We're not going with any old *** files.

p.s. A server is not about its rates actually, its about how p2w it is, it is about what content and what bug fixes it offers, it is about how vulnerable it is, it is about what staff it has. When you think about it, acclaim was the most successful publisher of 9D and they had INSANELY low rates.

You are right bogdy...acclaim was the best period of 9d (my opinion).
