However, after patch 3.0.8, i noticed that it procced off a damage spell. I did some testing at a target dummy and found that arcane missiles can cause the trinket to proc. This makes it a great trinket choice for arcane mages for the amount of badges needed to purchase it. I also heard that it procs off the warlock spell haunt.
