Hi guys, i have problem .bsr edit.
I want to bsr editing.
1- I renaming name files.



1- As you can see it works smoothly.Only renaming file.



2-But I can't make changes in it. .txt edit and hex edit dont work.







3-- I think this program may work for us to work like this program what we need to do.





Please help for me i need only want to .bsr editing.

There are two problems

1. There's a length of the text stored right before the text. 36 00 00 00. Thats 0x36, 54 in decimal. You need to edit this aswell, when editing with a hex editor

2. There are offsets stored right in the beginning pointing to different regions of the file allowing faster access for the parser. See here:


When you insert or remove bytes, these offsets get invalid and will cause problems. So you need to change these offsets aswell.

Luckily, there is a super easy solution for this: Just don't change the length of the string. You can choose any filename you want. Just choose one that fits the length of the string and use it.

Well, everyone has got his own choices, they wasted tons of time on these projects that not all people may appreciate/use, that doesn't make them greedy.

But in the other side, asking them to share their projects may be greedy.

There are other people, who don't even care, they are humble, cool, they like to share so people may take advantage in general not in SRO in, they share their projects, even largest ones.. I think people know who I am talking about...

Anyways, big brained people already know that SRO is ruined, so private servers are everywhere with very different levels, so it doesn't really matter anymore... Best choice is to create your own project, instead of begging others.

really both f8lib (SroPP) and filter (WProxy) base code is available on elitepvpers and you saying f8 is greedy
