I have a problem when exporting the file to SROBJ.export the file and I get an error

Stupid question : How do i export files from data.pk2 ?
found how.


Is anyone trying to make lots of custon weapons or something and adding them to client ?

And how to make symmetrical spear, sword, bow and other stuff ? Make half of it and duplicate then joint or something else ?

When exporting single-group meshes like weapons,shields, basically anything that doesnt move ingame I recommend using the original .obj format, since you dont need the vertex-groups here.

The error you're getting has to do with not all vertices having groups assigned to them. You can check which ones these are by deselecting everything, then going through each groups and pressing select. Once you did this for all groups the black vertices dont have groups and should be given one or 2.

Yes. Just download the x64 version .

There is no program for opening .bsr and .bmt files. Only JoyMax has it.

Yes, I'm making a full degree(china only). Almost done, only textures to do now.
For symmetrical editing you want to use the Mirror modifier. To enable it, select your object that you want to mirror(can also be done in edit mode). Then select the wrench icon from the right panel and from Add Modifier, choose the Mirror from the Generate category. Then you can change which axis you want to mirror and some other stuff(Merge should be selected with most objects) once your model is complete, you can apply the modifier in object mode.

You can do both, but without a thourough understanding of the mechanics of the game files and converter, creating something from scratch would be very hard, especially since nobody reads the manual. So I would advise editing existing items, it's a lot easier and a lot less work.

Hmm texture thing is quite hard to understand, any guides made for noobs ?

And then I edit armors and import them to game I will need texture thing or it will work without it just for testing ?

You will have to have texture coordinates, otherwise it won't work, so I think that the answer to you question would be yes, you need the textures. However, you can just select the entire mesh and press u, then take the first option. That will make texture coords, but you don't actually have to do anything with them. Using those you can see the model ingame already.

He doesn't have to make any Blender guides for anyone because there are tons of such guides already, just search for them.

you must place at the point where the gun grab..
I recommend using: Misfit Model 3D...I also had the same error to convert them to bms..
