The only reason I can see it not working if you encrypt is if you're running a mix of encrypted and decrypted files in your client. We run all encrypted files and it seems to work just fine for us.

As far as your issue at hand, I'd personally use the Python tool to convert your cash.sdata into a .scv table and look it all over from there. Same for your item.sdata. Especially if you edited it in HEX before. I'm kind of partial to these tables, mainly because HEX coding is a major weakness of mine and I've heard of more issues rising with it than anything >.>

ive never got this issue before..ive mostly been able to set up my server without issues
the only things i can think of are as zero said the encrypted/decrypted files, something wasnt done right in the sdata..other than that i have no thoughts really
maybe the client is corrupted somehow? O.o

i noticed that too..my server when we had ep4 skills in an ep5 client and stuff..would only run with an ep4 exe
it would not run with an ep5.
i dont know..could have just been the way i set things up
im one who loves to edit everything i possibly can to make it better xD
