[HOW TO]Edit EFT files

Hello, i am trying to edit some EFT files writing in txt editors but when i save them and import to game its always crashing the game so there is any program to edit them ? Or another way to edit.

What you posted has nothing to do with the real 'effect' of eft files.

Wonder how i made new fireworks, it is a new file than tells alot.

Thanks for reply Twilight360 but thats not what i mean. I dont wanna make new effect files. Just wanna add some missing files inside.

In old world EFT have 22 3DE file but in new one have 27 so when i try to write all information its just crashing

You still can add new files it goes for any eft files man, don't be closed minded it is only stopping you from getting what you want done.

Yeah i know i am not looking to things with horse glases. Just wanna do what i want and trying to find out i have tried many way even HxD but it still crashes or deleting all effects in game i will keep continue and if there is someone knows how to do it or some clue about it enough

I guess what he's trying to do is 'add new records' to the EFT file, (as when you add more mobs to the Monster file).
For that you would need to study the EFT file structure (may be Castor already posted the structure in another thread), and then you can add new records with HxD.

Yeah his issue is he is creating new lines in the eft which will corrupt he isn't understanding how HxD works so it won't end up crashing.

I searched hole forum about it i codulnt find anything about it i will just ask to castor again if he have a time for explain
