Oracle VM virtual box problem

I have windows xp and a server set up on oracle virtual box and i try to run server and it says need direct x 9c or updated drivers. i downloaded direct x on it and it still wont run. Anyone have ideas? My actual compute rhas fully updated drivers,

1) what is the host OS
2) running games in a VM is not such a good ideal, it's not stable enough.

7. and its just a test server. im using before i put it on my other cpu

you can!t run the shaiya client on vrtual box even with the 3d setting on.
The server runs just fine on it.
But i m sure that it can after some time they are working on it.
