Hmm, I think if this guy doesn't like a server, it is a good one to check out.

I personally like a Rohan server that isn't stuck in the dark ages. I don't like "99" servers because they have absolutely no room to grow. Same old boring **** we had before Hero. ICK! No thanks.

I'll chat with some friends about this server and see if they are interested. Perhaps they will come back to Rohan that isn't stuck in circa 2008.

Well, tbh 99 servers arent bad as long as they are open for progress. Its not like a 99 server has to stay 99. After all, its a good choice to first fix up the 99 content before starting with the hero mess.

The only problem with that is "pathing" which we've discussed before. A 99 server to start with is fine but there must be concrete plans and development ability to fully progress beyond it. The 99 cap can't stay forever but you need a pre-emptive plan to bring in the 110 content in a balanced way that shouldn't impact on the previous content. Development shouldn't begin at 99 then go, oh we need to try and get 110 in. It should be, we'll start at 99 then at x stage we'll start to bring in x content and bring the server up to 110.

But you already know that though 99% of the other server "devs" don't.

Once it's balanced, we have no reason to quit.

We quit because of the unbalanced nature that no GM seem to get right.

Almost all servers, GM's can't seem to make it in such a way that players can acquire gear, without a zerg or without pvp.. So basically if you don't have a zerg, you'll never get boss drops.

OldRohan said he did it, but his server has too many changes for me.

I love to fight zergs, but not on 110 servers where everyone has -8k melee or Double positive melee where temps are inlfated to high hell hitting a defender with Ward 12kpdef around 5-7k damage..

If the new server managers to ensure that melee isn't super inflated like it is on Chaos, i'd love to make your zerg quit ^_^ Or you guys will quit cuz of skype ;-) ?

Blame it on Skype when they manage to make a proper server.
