RappelzMania 9.4

Hey guys!

The server has been open for a couple of months now. We have acheived a lot of the features we had
planned in the original post, as well as some other things.

A quick rundown:

• The server is 9.4
  
• There is no cash shop, any item that is obtainable will only be gotten ingame
  
• The server is low rate
  
• There is custom content
  

Features:

• Upload Server
  Get stylish with your guild and customize it with an icon. If you apply in our discord with your guild, and
  it meets the requirements, you may even get your icon as a server wide emote.
  
• A master event npc in Horizon
  He provides many things that you will want to take advantage of, including events, custom
  item upgrades, and other services.
  
• Two assistant npcs
  There are two additional npcs alongside the master event npc, one in Laksy, the other in Katan. They also provide a lot of services that you definitely don't want to miss
  
• Butkadah's Medal
  One of the items you can obtain while playing is a medal that belongs to Butkadah. The npc in horizion will trade that in for various items.
  
• Stage 10 pets
  Once pets reach stage 5, there is a custom staging system that lets you reach up to stage 10.
  It is challenging, but well worth it. They have great power, but this power comes at a great cost.
  
• All TP
  The standard TP quests are available to do, and will permanently save those TPs as acquired. You can gain additional TP by creating Charged Talent Crystals through materials and JP. Any situtation that will cause TP to go away will cause TPs created this way to be lost.
  
• Custom drop system
  Most monsters use a custom drop system that makes it very easy to modify the exact behaviour of drops. As part of this system, most monsters will drop fragment chests, loot chests, and butkadah's medals.
  
• Custom items
  There are several custom items, ranging from loot chests to item fragments.
  
• Enhanced HV Buffer
  The Hidden Village buffer provides the original buffs, as well as minor versions of all class buffs
  at three different tiers. Both sets of buffs will also be applied to the primary summoned creature.
  
• Rebirth
  After 150, a quest line can be started at the npc in horizon. After completion of the quest line, you
  unlock the ability to perform an absolute rebirth. This will reset your job, level, jp, tp, and exp.
  After being reborn, you will unlock a new toggle ability that grants power. Every time you rebirth, this
  toggle increases in level. The higher your level when you rebirth, the more rebirths you gain. You must be at least 150 to rebirth. Rebirthing will have no limit, but is capped at 50 for now.
  
• Token Rebirth
  If you are one of the nine standard buffing classes, instead of choosing to increase your rebirth, you can
  instead create a token of your class. This tradable token will allow the person who uses it to permanently
  cast the max level buffs of that class.

  Map shows the locations of players. Only the main world shows player locations for now.
  The Goal is to complete every map.

1.2:

• Two new NPCS, one added to Katan, the other to Upper Laksy
  
  • Both new npcs perform a variety of services
  • Additional functionality added to Event Master John to supliment the new NPCs
• 20 New items have been created
  
  • Most of these items are used with the new NPCs
• A new type of chest can drop from most monsters
  
  • Powerful creatures drop the better version of this chest

• Hero Hector now sells Permanent Master Helmets
• The Rondo Blacksmith sells an item to extend the time on the timed Master Helmets(and maybe others)
• The Hidden Village druid now buffs for an hour and 30 minutes

• Hidden Village Pass is no longer permanently active
• Took away timed barbarian wings, feather mystery boxes and the feathers gotten from them, and premium stable passes

• Loot chests now contain lucky potions and animal crackers in their possible item pool
• Increased amount of altered pieces obtained from loot chests when received
• Increased amount of secret feathers obtained from loot chests when received
• Powerful creatures now drop a number of loot chests scaled on their level instead of always dropping 5
• Made Perfect Chaos Stone Packages stackable, fixing Ancient Chaos Stone Creation
• Prep for something in the future

1.2 fix:

• Removed most obtained boss souls
• Removed most obtained talent crystal shards
• Removed most obtained uncharged talent crystals
• Removed most obtained Wing Fragment Chests
• Removed most obtained Wing Fragments
• Removed all obtained wings
• Significantly reduced the drop rate of boss souls, T3 loot chests, and T1 Fragment chests from easily farmable bosses
• Started an event that is a long term event(Probably last forever)
• Removed the exp penalty from HLP
• Increased Some level up rewards
• Fixed bug where all of the new items and boss souls could be used, losing them forever

1.3:

• New 150 Quest line that can be started at Event Master John
  • Leads to one of the new major mechanics of the game, Absolute Rebirth
  • New mechanic adds infinite linear progression
  • Warning: Make sure you fully read and understand what's going on before you do it
• New systems in Lunara and Lunora
  • Growth Potion Upgrade
  • GMFB Creation
  • Sealing Scroll creation
  • Stamina Related Creation
  • Parallel World Related Creation
• Parallel World can now drop additional scrolls
• Rondo Guild Offical can create Creature Rename Scrolls

  • Added tooltips at lower levels to inform new players
• Increased max warehouse storage to 2000
• Fixed Sudden Rush CD to be the right amount
• Fixed certain buffs giving more than double the stats that they should
• Fixed all skills having a 26,663% of critting, and set them all to 20% bonus
• Fixed Defense Chip Drops
• Fixed T2 Fragment Chest selling for double what it should

1.4:

• New rebirth system: Token Rebirth
  • New option at 150 for certain master classes
  • Upon rebirth, create a token instead of gaining a rebirth
  • Token can be used to permanently gain the buff skills of the class that created it
• Cube strike and defense boxes from Butkadah medals now have a chance to contain bonus ancient elements, up to R7
  • Ancient elements can be upgraded at Event Master John
• Event Master John can now upgrade soul stones that are at least polished
• Tier 1 Fragment chests can now drop Arena Points and Coins of Marduka
• The manager inside of the 3 temples on Veiled Island now sell their corresponding set's helmet
• The Black Market now has Final Sealing Scrolls for Armor
• Stamina Savers can be converted into Growth Potions at Lunara
• Added a rebirth debuff until relogging to fix an exploit

Hey guys!

Four years ago, there was a server called RappelzMania. It was well received,
but it sadly shut down due to a lack of proper resources, and someone's refusal to
cooperate with us after giving us their word.

I'm proud to announce that we are back, and this time for good.

With 4 more years of life experience, we now have the proper resources
to sustainably host. We are taking matters into our own hands; this time
we know we can keep it running, and we won't make the same mistakes we
did last time.

The server is a 9.4 server, using the release by Revolution and Royal Team.
Our vision for a rappelz private server has not changed since the first inception of RappelzMania 4 years ago.
The server is not p2w, no money can even be spent on anything. There is no cash shop. It's all
about the game and enjoying it; money is no incentive. The server also provides a challenge.
It's not a "one and done" server where you max out the first day. You must earn your way to the end.
Dungeon parties aren't usless anymore.

Features:

  Most monsters have a chance of dropping these, and they provide a multitude of items, some of which

  At the moment, there is a custom event ready to run at some point in the future. There will likely be more
  to come.
  

Server:

• EXP Rate: 3-4x
  3 times on weekdays, 4 times on weekends
  
• Drop Rate: 3x
  
• Gold Rate: 3x

Here is an update on some things:

• We added a google drive link on the website for the people that were requesting it.
• Multiple clients now works. No need for Sandboxie. You just need to download the launcher separately.
• Everyone now has access to hidden village. This may be temporary until we decide how to give out passes.
• Fixed money issues.
