Condolences to his relatives and loves ones, they are the ones suffering not him or us!I truly believe we are made to live not to die, respected his work, but lets not pretend he was a nice person when he wasn't, sure he may be to some but overall he wasn't, dont you all be hypocrite now! Disrespectful towards must of people in here, unless he wanted something from that person or saw something to benefit himself, a hacker, DDO's other servers, corrupt Admin and player, a flamer, a provocative person, ruined a good server for no reason at all just because "he felt like it"!
I can guess how he prob died, but am i saying he would deserve it? Not at all!
Be good people while alive, the dead do not need us to be good to them!

I'm fine with your opinion in view of him as a DEV/player and your offering of condolences,
but -to use your own word- to "pretend" to know him as a person,
while it seems you have really no idea how he really was as a person,
just as a DEV or player, is not such a honorable move...
I already stated how he gave himself here, and that I can understand when players and developers are mad about his actions,
but don't talk that kind of **** about him as a person...
Life is for the living ones, but that does not include to be disrespectful to the dead.
