im beginner at sql things and editing servers so i would ask how to import sql file into Arcadia database.
i've downloaded an NPCResource.sql file and i would know how do i replace it with the old one or how to insert it as a new one.[ because i deleted my old NPCResource.sql file ]

thnder... hey man could you help me out i hd to redo my entire computer and i got my rapplez server back up but when i try and login it says "can not connect to login server" any thoughts is greatly appreciated
i had to completely re install every thing even mssql but i did manage to save my BAK files from before and restored them to the new one

Did you skip the SQL configuration step (port 1433)

Did you open the ports you needed to open again through the firewall.

This is usually either client mismatch (hopefully you saved your working client), or it is a port or address issue (sometimes also involving the .opt files.)

no i didnt skip it and when upload,princess,and captian is running a port checker says that 1433 is open i changed my ip address in the opt file and the client works cause i use it to log in a friend of mines game as well just cant log into mine now lol , i just completely took sql out again and reinstalling it now maybe i did miss something

This isn't a sql issue. looks like authserver port isn't open in your firewall.

thats what i thought but i checked and even turned off my firewall but to late now im redownloading mssql 2012 now and will try it again.and this time make sure the firewall is not stopping any thing ill let you know in about an hour or so whats going on thank you guys again

Just remember 1433 is the SQL port you will also need 8841 open for auth for the IO port. The game client connects on 8841 in the launcher arguments.

As long as you did not change the IO port in the .opt files.

Did you start the upload server.

It is only needed for guild icons, and there is a whole lot more you will need to do to get the guild icons working, so the fact that this is a problem is really only a matter of opinion.

I don't see it as a problem.

Next time please use the help thread...

That game server .opt is a mess. You have a colon after every begging letter and should not it probably cant read anything.

What is wrong with using stuff from the actual guide?
