Hello Everybody,
First, I like to thank all people here, for there great job, without you, we will not be able to play in rappelz privates servers. Specially; Gavsta for the server files, Xijezu for the GM tools, Ptifou78 for the DB fixing, Silent Hill for the merchand Modder, and all the others members. (and i don't thank to be important or to be nice, but you really deserve the thank's)
I'm so weak in computer stuff, but after 2 week in fight with my PC i finally success to install my private server, "thank's to your forum of course".
I put the server online, with Hamachi, and i invited 4 friends, (and only 4) to enjoy the game. we are very interested to the details, quest, dungeons etc.
My problem is i would like to fix Master class quest, and the quest and the drop of the volcano larms. i will be very thankful if someone can explain it to me with a "primitive way" because as i said i'm very weak in computer things, or at least upload for me a fixed files.

Go through the dbo.dropgroupresource and search your item. perhaps it's allready in the dropgroupresource and only set to 0%. If it's not in there you have to add the item.

dropgroup_id in dbo.monsterresource is the reference to the monsterdroptable. drop_item_id_00 to drop_item_id_09 in monsterdroptabele are the references to dropgroupresource.

the item is added in drop group resource and not 0% first it was 0% so it dont drop the old skll cards and volcano larave and the Essence of Power or Conentrated Power and i tried to add it in monster drop tableresource but it dont work nd i used the table fix rom download center and i change in some fix to the volcaoes larms id [1000401,1000402,1000403,1000404] and Essence of Power and Conentrated Power [1100101,1100102] but dont get work

and i discovered a new problem in the usra canvas dont make the room

i left off the extra lines at the bottom .. dont think there useful for the issue im having

could it be because i left the (gameserver) S db.user.account: blank ? does it need to be sa also ?

would a port issue be a problem ? thats something i havent looked into. but i didnt think so since im just trying to connect it on my own computer.

thank you c1ph3r .. that helped with that problem :0) .. sorry i feel like an idiot but have 2 more questions lol..

first on the CaptainHerlockServer..
everything is loading except the last line.. this is what it reads

Connecting to the Upload Server failed. Check upload server status. IP:127.0.0.1 / PORT :4616

2nd problem is when i log in the admin/admin doesnt work..


ok first problem fixed.. ran upload server duh ... ok still cant login.. and cant figure out how the MD5 creator works .. i have the md5.. but no account creator for it.. it just opens a blank ms-dos window

ok got account creator... setup account.. logged in fine.. now there's no server on the list .. lol

(sorry for posting things as i go but hoping someone reads this and knows what i did wrong while im searching for problems)

ok got game and server both up and running.. with the exception of when i go to create a charachter

it tells me .. you cannnot create a charachter.

not using (gm) or anything like that .. just a normal name.. like loralin

I feel like a huge jackass for asking this but I'm getting the simplest error when trying to restore my database.
When I try to restore, it gives me an "Unable to cast" error and won't populate any fields. When I try to look at the backup, it's coming up as null. I've tried this with about 3-4 backups and none of them work. Is SQL '08 R2 still the version being used?
