If you have an English client then the client should be fine unless you do updates.

The server databases come using the Arabic string resource by default because they are gamepower 7's files

Rename arcadia.dbo.stringresource to arcadia.dbo.stringresource_ar

There should be a database dbo.stringresource_en...rename that one to dbo.stringresource and you should be all set on the database side.

So i'm trying to fix the missing icons from items that were already in the database.
For example icon_event_us_gold_token. itemresource icon_file_name contains same name. So what I did is put this in the item.spr file as

icon_event_us_gold_token
1
icon_event_us_gold_token.jpg
34,34
0

Put both item.spr and icon_event_us_gold_token.jpg hashed into client.
But it doesn't seems to work... wonder what i'm doing wrong here.

Yes my dbo.stringresource is english, i translate in french. In arcadia i have 1 dbo.stringresource. I'm going to try to use rappelz rdb tool. I also look for my emptystring in quest from gildas and portal of dungeon.

It's been a while ago... So if anyone mind explaining me how the lightless scroll/scroll to break the soul of distorted armor linked to the circus/distorted gear?
if i'll use this on distorted items i'll get the msg this item can't be combined/enchanted.

They work almost the same but in my repack i used the bless stone to identify armor so u get +1skills for them.

can u tell me what is the requirment for the host server to start rappelz private server on it minumum requirment and the recommanded requirment : RAM , Hard Disk , Processur ....etc

Depends on how many players join your server.
When I started with rappelz server 5 years ago . I used to run my first server on my desktop with 6gb ram i7 cpu 250gb hdd ^^

thx but let's say i have between 30 - 50 player max and i have 32 GB ram 240 GB I7 100 Mb/s Speed NEtwork would that be enough i mean from youre exprience the players would have best exprience or the game will be laggy all the time and we will have so much issues and shutting down services ....

apparently pyroks files are not complete, exileds files are not complete aswell and drows files are a downgraded version of 8.x

There isn't.If you wana ever see some of older epics a complete files or working server,you can do next things.

Find a team and do it.
Do it your self.


I don't see any more option for you.As far i know,only good 6.2 server was nemesis one,but i assume chip3r won't release them.

As far my 6.2 project...i did some progress but i am far from making a server files bug free as possible and if i do it i don't see myself in near future to start server and fund it coz of real life issue.

It should work fine. Don't let people download clients files directly from your server. upload client to googledrive/mega instead.

So i'm asking a lua coder to help me out with the rappelz lua files. he asks me for the api documentation.. Didn't see such documentation posted here... anyone can give me some directions to get this person started...
